  1. Hmm, I'll have to try that, although we can tell our friend to tie on a 50 footer!!!
  2. Thanks for the replys guys. Guess it kinda falls under "tackle to catch fishermen" catagory.
  3. Need some opinions on the e-chips, do you guys who use them notice any catch difference vs. regular tackle??? I have yet to purchase any, but I have a buddy who did really well on them last year, but not really enough to convince me yet. so, are they worth it?
  4. Another 30 here, I replace mine several times a year. P-Line CXX, 20lb. clear.
  5. As soon as the shelf ice clears from the GT Bays and Betsie Bay, gotta get some new rod holders mounted, wheel bearings with fresh grease and am swapping the old tralier lights to new LED units. Boat is in the garage, I just cant get myself motivated to go out in the cold garage and start working on it. That first warm day though...
  6. Nice!!! Thanks for posting!!!
  7. Is there a link with dates and times of the show??? Thanks!
  8. Les Davis cowbells and hand tied spin n' glows/peanuts. Also, green neon colored squids and dodgers/fish catchers do well for me. Green dolphin mags work wonders as well.
  9. Thanks for the warm welcome guys! The avatar fish shot was caught last year at Frankfort, my main port for Kings. Mixed Veggies, it was the hot spoon that day. Landed 6 kings, 3 shakers, and lost 4 others, all in 2 hours fishin'! Non stop action, as fast as I could send them down on the rigger the fish hit it. Can't wait till the soft water season is upon us!!!!
  10. I still use squids, I like the Michigan Squids, mostly green colors. Dodgers are ok for me, but I use them mainly behind Hoochies. Again, for me, squids seem to catch the bigger kings, don't know why.
  11. Just checking in, signed up the other day, and this looks like a great site!!! Lots of reading to do here, and I'll be posting as well! Thanx GLF!!!
