One of the things were are concerned with is the RPM's. The boat is turning 4000-4600 rpm's while running. A truck only turns 1800-2500 RPM's while driving, unless under exceleration.
A friend of mine needs to change his water pump on the motor on his boat. It is a 4.3l v-6. Is there a difference between a marine and an automotive waterpump?
Personally....I dont see the merit in a law suit. All Lowrance had to do was turn a transducer sideways and develope their own software for it.

I can relate to this. Every morning I fish, my widows are dewed over. I clean the windows and it comes right back. I usually pull the top back and look like a prairie dog on the way out.
