Lady luck was on your side with the one that was still on your downrigger cable. Nice job.

We left the dock at 5:15am and headed out. There was a boat ahead of us in the channel.....but they turned around when the reached the end of the channel and went back in. We bounced around in the 2-4's till noon and ended 2 for 3(both lake trout). One came on a Stinger NITRO NBK. We caught one and lost one on a Stinger prochip 8 Super Frog with a Siggs Rigs al capone. We fished from 80-150 FOW with our baits 55-110' down.

Prochip 11 double pearl fishscale with a Siggs Rigs brushed stainless trophy fly. When you pull this fly out of the container and look at it in the sun, you will know why the fish love it!

I am fishing in the morning. It has been a few weeks since I have been out. I went to South Haven and prepped the boat this afternoon. Went to the gas dock and lightend my wallet, then ran out to 80FOW, and dropped a temp probe. Never dropped a line. This was around 4:30pm. at 55' it was 55 degrees at 65' it was 48 degrees at 75' it was 46.5 degrees The lake was 1-3' and an occasional 4'er mixed in.
