  1. Great job Kyle.
  2. Nice job TJ! Whats your favorite way of cooking the lake trout?
  3. I spotted this fox in the back yard today and watched him for several minutes. In that time, he went 3/4 of the way around our house and caught two meals. I recorded the fox getting both meals on video. One was recorded through a back window, and the other was recorded through a window with a screen on the side of the house. This is the first meal we watched him get. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwfYKsytUbg This is the second meal we watched him get. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEl71rKAGIM I am not sure if they are mice or baby rabbits. The green thing in the second video is the top of our in-ground propane tank.
  4. I have the X4 probe with the 840 unit. I usually change the batteries in the probe after 15 trips. The batteries are still good when I change them. However.....I have noticed I start to loose signal when fishing deeper with the old batteries.
  5. Good luck RJ. Hopefully you end up with a cooler full!
  6. South Haven will never have GIANT waves in close, because it is to shallow. Here is a good read about waves.
  7. Thanks for the trip Terry. I am always up for a trip on the DIRTY DOG!
  8. I went out with the DIRTY DOG out of Holland on 8-24-2010. We ended up 4 for 9. Sorry it took so long to get this video up. I have been very busy the last few weeks.
  9. You have to upload the video to youtube.
  10. It is slipped right in front of the Idler.
  11. Where's the downriggers? Nice looking rig Steve!
  12. Welcome aboard Steve! Thanks for taking a minute and doing an introduction. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask.
  13. The family and I went for a ride to South Haven to check on the boat and look at the storm. This is a short video I took while we were at the North beach. There was a boat that decided to get a CLOSER look at the waves!
  14. I do not have a spot light up front for running in the dark. I do have a couple of flood lights mounted on my bimini top for lighting up the back deck area while fishing. Fog lights spread the light out. Do not use driving lights for lighting up the back of your boat.
  15. There are some fish in the rivers already.
  16. Great video John!
  17. They link I use updated this morning and now shows the same forecast as your link.
  18. Dan, Thanks for making your first post. Hopefully this is not your last. We look foreward to seeing your reports and some pictures of your catches and your boat. Thanks for becoming a supporting member and helping to support this website. Mike
  19. This is what I have been using for the open water forecast. http://www.nws.noaa.gov/om/marine/zone/gtlakes/lmopen.htm
  20. This is not what I am seeing on NOAA. Where are you getting your forecast from? I would like another link to compare forecasts.
  21. Welcome aboard Frank. Josh hit the nail on the head about having to be a supporting member to post in the classifieds.
