  1. I am looking for a used 20' x 8.5' enclosed cargo trailer, with a ramp for a rear door. Let me know if you know anyone who has one for sale, or see one sitting around thats for sale. Thanks, Mike
  2. Big Weenie or Siggs Rigs. Both of them are sponsors of this website.
  3. Sounds like you and Zach had a great time. Who played beagle and stomped the brush piles?
  4. Welcome aboard Rick! Lots of great information has already been posted. Dont be afraid to ask a question that may have been asked before. Its nice to bring some of the old topics to the top again.
  5. Yup! I fished Lake Erie in 4-6' waves. The waves are very close together.
  6. An 18' boat should not be an issue. I use to have a 19' Basscat Pantera II with a 200hp Mercury. I use to fish tournaments on the Grand River and Muskegon Lake. We were allowed to run Lake Michigan in the tournaments. In some of the tournaments while running the big lake, we were running in 4-6' waves. I also fished Lake Erie with it. When running in rough water, do not run straight into the waves. This beats the crap out of you and your equipment. The pounding from running in rough water will cause stress cracks in the gel coat. You want to take the waves at a 45 degree angle. You will end up running a zig-zag coarse to get to where you want to go.
  7. Nice job Paul!
  8. Nice job Ed!
  9. Blood in pictures does not bother me, and will not be sensored here. But...a picture looks ALOT better without it. If I am going to take a picture of a fish, I try to wash any blood off it before I take the picture. Sometimes in all of the excitement of taking the pictures we forget about this. It can be hard for someone to hang onto a fish that was just caught. Put the fish in the cooler and get your line(s) reset before you take your pictures. This gives the fish a chance to die and the fish will be easier to hang onto. If I am taking a picture of a deer, I try not to show the bloody areas. I will even push the tongue back in its mouth.
  10. All of the above are so true! I also like the person who you see sitting at the corner from a quarter mile away, then right before you get to them, they decide to pull out right in front of you.
  11. Welcome aboard Bill!
  12. Nice job Ed!

  14. Merry Christmas everyone. Lets see what the new year brings for us.
  15. I am pretty busy with these guys this winter. Hunter is racing at the DeltaPlex again on 7 Jan. If we dont bend anything up on the car at the DeltaPlex we may take both cars to Columbus Ohio on 14 Jan. There are several other indoor dates this winter.
  16. The fish are still there. Nice to see someone still on the pond. Any idea on what the water temp is?
  17. I always love following behind the person who drives 5mph slower than the speed limit in the no passing zone, and then 5mph over the speed limit in the passing zone. Whats up with that??? When I had a radar detector I got more speeding tickets than without one. Something about the sense of being invulnerable causes me to drive faster.

  23. Racing has its hi's and low's. Unfortunately this weekend we hit a low. We were running bumper to bumper with the leader in the feature race on Friday when we had a piece of track debree get stuck between the break pad and the caliper causing the brake to drag. During our first practice Saturday we were fast and got into the back of another car, hit the wall and ended up on the side. Hunter did not get a scratch, but our car bent the right front spindle and the axle. we found a spare right spindle to put on, but had to make do with the bent axle. After some wrenching we were pretty good again, but not 100%. Unfortunately that break caliper bit us again during the feature on Saturday. This time is was just a mechanical issue with the caliper, causing the piston to hang up and drag the breaks again. Because of this, we were really slow and ended up last in the feature. We chased the race track all weekend because it was constantly changing. It went from slippery/snotty on Thursday, to really good for the heat race on Saturday. It started raining outside before the feature and it went back to be snotty. They put some rossin down on the track before the feature and it was decent. The deltaplex was hard on a lot of cars. Several cars bent axles, spindles, and other parts!
