  1. Frank hit the nail on the head. I would not add a split ring to the nose of the spoon. Attach your line to the spoon with a coast lock swivel.
  2. Instead of doing this, I would purchase a full core, and put 5 colors of core on two rods. I would also pick up some 4oz Dive Bombs. With a 4oz Dive Bomb and 5 colors of core, it is the same as a full core. MiStinger came out with the Dive Bomb last year. This is an add on plaining weight. A 4oz dive bomb on mono will get you around 30' down. Some of the other things you need to know about lead core. One color of lead core will get your bait 4-5' down. A half core is 5 colors - this will get your bait down 20-25' A full core is 10 colors - this will get your bait down 40-50' On top of the 3 riggers, and 2 divers, I run 3 inline planer boards off each side of my boat. I run a full core, half core, and a 2 or 3 color core off each side. Always keep your deepest(The one with the most core) closest to the boat and work out. I also run a 2 color with a 4oz Dive Bomb, right down the shoot for a 12 rod spread. When setting lines, you can run the half core and 2 or 3 color straight out the back, hook on the board, let the board out behind the full core, and work it to the outside. With my spread, I am covering the 40-50' deep, 20-25' deep, and 8-15' deep. I will also add Dive Bombs to my cores, to get them in the 70-80' depth. I have found through trial and error, that you should only run a dive bomb on your inside boards. How do you end up with different size cores? I have started out with several full cores. After a few tangles, the end up shorter
  3. Ken, Locate the radio further than 3' away and try it before you cut the cable.
  4. I could see where this could be a very useful tool, if it viewed far enough to the sides. What would you say was the max distance it showed the baitfish off the sides of the boat?
  5. Great job Olivia and Ed! You may want to check into the IGA for line size record also
  6. Thanks Tim. Mark sent me a pm today saying it was sold and he was unable to make a post. I found the problem. I had one button unchecked in the control panel, and he was not able to reply to his own post.
  7. I was told at D & R Sports that Fish Hawk was bought out. I was also told they are redesigning the probe. I am not sure if they will do the control box or not.
  8. I added this to the calendar. It will show up on the bottom of the forum when it is near the date.
  9. Sold Thread closed.
  10. I edited the first post and added pictures.
  11. $30 per boat, plus the cost of the lure package. I am not sure what the cost of the lure package will be this year, because of the two new flashers being added. I should have a price in the next few weeks. Last year was the first year I ran this, and I think there was 11 or teams.
  12. I ended up with one doe and one small buck this season. What did you end up with?
  13. Lets see some of your favorite 2007 photos.
  14. These are a few of my favorite photos from the 2007 season. My son catching his first salmon. My boys sleeping on the way out. Hitch hiker Sunrise King in net Hunter GLF Hunter with an October King GLF and Dv8oR at the last WMFL weigh in. It does not look like it, but that is a 3.5lb smallmouth Dv8oR is holding. We caught it on Lake Michigan with an 11" flasher and a Siggs Rigs fly combination.
  15. I spoke with Rob and Terry at Michigan Stinger. This spoon will be in production for the 2008 season. Here is a nice king caught on this during the Stinger Challenge.
  16. I spoke with Rob and Terry at Michigan Stinger. This spoon will be in production in 2008. Here is a picture of a fish caught on it on 28 May 2007.

Thanks for the tip! It came with screws and plastic anchors. I am sure my boys would have had it ripped down in time.

    Monster Jam

What is the name of the person in this photo with my sons?
  24. My family and I have tickets to Monster Jam in Detroit on January 19th. I have been to shows in the small arenas. They do not compare to the shows in a stadium. If you ever get a chance to go to a Monster Jam show at a big stadium like the Ford Field House, go! Get there early and do the pit party. This is a chance for you to go up to the trucks, meet the drivers, and get some great photos of you beside the trucks. Here are a few pictures of mine from previous shows. I will have more pictures from the show in January! Has anyone else been to a Monster Jam show?
  25. I built our house a couple of years ago. There are a few small things that are not finished. They say a house in never finished until you sell it. I never put in towel racks. We picked up some towel racks the other day, and I am about to install them. I am unsure on how far off the floor they normally are. How high from the floor are your towel racks? Is this a personal preference?
