  1. Not to far away. I use to live at Duck Lake. Now I live in Otsego. I work in Allegan. Here is the link to the sign up thread.
  2. I created this section so we can group the upcoming seminars and shows in one place. I moved some of the other posts from the other sections to this section. If I missed some, let me know and I will move them here.
  3. Can anyone beat 39 seconds?

  6. This is what I use for the lighting on my boat. I think they do a really good job at lighting up the back of my boat. This fog light kit($19.94) came with a switch. These are flood lights and not driving lights. You do not want driving lights as they have a beam instead of a spread out light. I spent maybe $25 at Walmart on everything. I had extra wire around the house. I attached the lights to the clips with 10-24 stainless screws and nuts. I clip these on my top. They are easily removed. Some day I will get a radar arch and I will install them permantly on the arch. The work decent for charging your glow in the dark baits.
  7. Ummmm.....This is where we have a cultural difference. I have never had caviar. When I catch a hen filled with spawn, usually the spawn is saved for use as a spawn sack, NEVER EATEN. OK....what times dinner? Get those questions asked. Fishing season is around 3 months away here.
  8. Lets see....another rigger, 12 more rod holders, 14 more rods, 500 spoons........Its a disease I tell ya! You always hear about those deals, and say, "I wish I would have found that deal". Every once in a while, you get lucky and come across it for yourself. Nice name! You are near South Haven. Have you considered fishing in the West Michigan Fishing League on the site?
  9. I have a question reguarding bay leafs. Why do recipes always call for bay leaf's, then they are removed when finished cooking? What am I missing about bay leaf's? Why not just grind it up and use it that way?
  10. Point taken. This is a prototype, just like all of the ones I posted previously. There will not be an overkill in the killer line. Only two of the prototypes I posted earlier will be available this season. Lots of lures are made every day. Most will never see production. If they catch fish......shouldn't they go into production?
  11. I have created another Stinger prototype that I will be running this year. What do you think?
  12. It took me 2.5 hours to make this.
  13. Nice job Ed, and thanks for the report!
  14. LMFAO.....and where were you?????
  15. I edited your original post and added where to add the parmesan cheese. I gave this recipe to a coworker at work on Friday. He brought in a sample on Monday. Today I made a double batch for myself and my family. I am planning on freezing a bunch of it. I hope it stays OK in the freezer. Has anyone ever froze it before? Great recipe Bob! Thanks for sharing.
  16. I see you found the new section I created. This section was a suggestion from a member of the website. It made sense to me, so here it is. Now.....lets see some reports!
  17. I did call you. Maybe you should return your phone calls.
  18. Next season, or this season? They will be at the show. Look for them in the Amish Outfitters booth.
  19. On another note.....I know Michigan Stinger redesigned the Dive Bombs. It now has a stainless steel riser, instead of lead that comes off the planing surface and holds the line. It aslo uses a softer plug. The planing surface is slightly larger now also. I will post a picture of the new design when I get my hands on one.
  20. Thanks John, Everyone has been waiting for the charts for the dive bombs.
  21. To my knowledge, there is not a depth curve chart for the dive bombs. Mark Romanack has all of the different size Dive Bombs and was suppose to come out with the charts last season. Maybe this season.
  22. Burrrpppp!!!!!! I swear.....they have the best breakfast there! It was nice to see some faces I have not seen in a few months. For it be such a short notice, there was a few of us that made it. Redeye Tinman5 DIRTYDOG wfs myself and two sons Come on spring!
  23. DIRTY DOG will also be joining us. Anyone else want to go to breakfast?
  24. I am heading up to my boat in the morning to do some things on it. I am meeting wfs and possibly Dv8oR at Mr. B's at 10am for breakfast. Anyone is welcome to join us. Let me know if you are going to make it so I will know how big of a table to get. I will check this thread and my pm's in the morning. I will be leaving here around 8:15am. My sons Hunter and Wyatt will be with me. Mike
  25. Back in the late 70's when I started salmon fishing with my father, he had a device that mounted on the side of his boat. On this device, there was about a 3' wire that you attached a sinker to, and put in the water. There was a needle on the device that showed you how fast you were going. I feel that knowing your speed in which ever direction you are trolling is a key to success. Underwater current can be a key factor. 2.7mph on a gps is 2.7mph on the surface. It does not show you how fast your baits are moving under the water. Some more expierenced people can tell how fast a boat is going by the bend in a diver rod. I want to take all of the variables out of the equation. I will be adding a speed and temp probe to my boat this winter.
