All of the stars have aligned, and I will be out on Sunday. We will leave the dock by 6am, and will be fishing till around 10-10:30am. My nephew has to be back to Kalamazoo by 2pm to go to work.

Capt Dan has joined the staff at GLF and will assisting with the moderator duties on the site. Dan brings many years of walleye fishing expertise to the team. Dan and the new walleye sections should go hand and hand. Welcome aboard the team Dan!

Its hard to start a site that is focused on everything. Its easier to start small and spread out. This site has mainly been focused on salmon fishing. I had an absolute BLAST fishing the LH Stinger Challenge. I am planning on redoing the walleye section. I am looking for suggestions on what to add to the sub sections, and will take all suggestions into considerations. I will start by creating a "Walleye Catagory", and adding sub-forums to it. It will start out as a handful of sub-forums. As activity in the new sections grow, I will add to it. What are your suggestions for the new sub-forums?

I will be out on Saturday or Sunday. I am leaning toward Sunday, but not 100% sure. It all depends on the weather and if I there is a graduation party I have to go to. An official date has not been set for the graduation party. I need to watch the marine forecast. If the forecast does not look favorable, I may end up trying for some walleyes. See what Priority1 did to me????????

Well its a good thing I did not get the upgrade done. There was a security flaw in the last upgrade, and there is another upgrade already.

I fished the Lake Huron Stinger Challenge on Saginaw Bay with Priority1 on Saturday. We absolutely killed the walleye, and won the Challenge! This got me thinking. Muskegon Lake is a great walleye fishery. I might as well fish for walleye when it is to rough to get on the big lake. Today....I took a trip to D & R Sports in Kalamazoo, MI. $300 later I walk out with 2 new rods, 2 new reels, an Offshore board and tattle flag kit(they only had starboard side boards and 1 kit), some bottom bouncers, etc, etc, etc...... And the want list goes on. I need: I still want to pick up an additional 4-6 rods and reels. These rods will all pull double duty for spring fishing on the big lake. 4 more boards with tattle flag kits.(These things work great for light bites) scorpian spoons hooks beads spinners swivels etc etc etc Looks like I may need to take on a second job to support my hobby. The piggy bank is tapped out. It was a tough decision for the year. Buy gas for the boat for the year, or purchase a rocket launcher.

I put my boat back in the water today and did not get to the upgrade. I will be upgrading the software on Saturday morning around 7am.
