  1. You did not mention what sore of problems you have. I have a LCX-111C and absolutely love it! Lowrance came out with the 113 last year and it replaced the 111. Have you checked to see if the firmware is up to date? There is an article about it here. Even though it may new to you, it may have sat on the shelves for many months. Can you shed some light on your problems?
  2. Nice job Phil. Thanks for the report.
  3. Nice job fish byte. Welcome to the site!
  4. Nice job Phil and crew!
  5. Nice job Phil and crew. Glad the lake laid down and you whacked some fish!
  6. I run 6' sliders. I use a piece of surgical tubing with a slit cut in it, a barrel swivel and a bead for making the fixed.
  7. Correct! Where is the Lake Superior State University Aquatic Research Laboratory Fishcam Located? The ARL Fish Cam is located in Sault Ste. Marie, MI, in the St. Marys River. The camera is positioned on the output side of the Edison Sault Electric power generation building, on the east side of the hydro plant, immediately downstream from Lake State’s ARL hatchery.. Click here for more details.
  8. Cowabunga.....Thats what I am talking about! Nice job Skeiner!
  9. Here is a close up of what I believe is a lamprey.
  10. I was watching the LSSU fish cam for a few minutes and was suprised by the number of fish I saw that had lampreys attached to them. I grabbed these photos over the coarse of a couple minutes. Imagine how many lamprey's there must be if this is only 1 camera over the coarse of a few minutes.
  11. Check out all of the salmon on the Lake Superior University webcam.
  12. I run fixed sliders with them. Make sure you have quality swivels attached to the flasher/fly.
  13. Nice job Ryan! Any pictures?
  14. I spoke with Rob about this. I am not sure if they will add these to their line up. Is the PDM Purple Demon or SH269 Puss-N-Boots close enough to the purple thunder? On another note. Their website now has all of their new colors on it.
  15. My wife saw them coming accross the yard, so I got the video camera out. Looks like there is at least 24 babies. inkVjTwxgLk
  16. Nice box of fish! I would like to have that box of fish on the 20th.
  17. Thanks for the clarifications!
  18. I need a little clarification on two rules. I will have my 7 and 3 year old in the boat also. Do they count towards the 4 fisherman? Does this include releasing fish at the side of the boat. Technically, they are not "boxed". Just want to make sure myself and everyone are on the same page.
  19. Welcome to the site. I grew up on the East side of Kalamazoo. If you need anything, let out a yell. Mike
  20. The walleye will appreciate the break. Nice job Frank and crew!
  21. Craig, Thats what I got when I did my testing. I got a 4oz dive bomb to bounce bottom in 30FOW on 20lb test mono. I had to have out 250' line from the rod tip to the dive bomb. I also had the rod tip at the edge of the water when I did my testing, which would simulate being on an in-line board. This was with a gps speed of 2.5mph. I am not sure what the speed at the ball was because I did not have a speed and temp probe at the time. Its possible there was a N to S current or a S to N current, and my data may be inaccurate. Soo....the depths I achieved may vary when they come out in the next precission trollers guide.
