  1. Nice box of eyes Adam!
  2. Nice rebound from getting a hook in your hand the other day.
  3. Nice job and report Adam!
  4. Ouch on the burried treble hooks. I had a near miss on Saturday, and ended up with a 1" cut along one of my fingers where the hook narrowly missed.
  5. Nice job Frank! Hopefully Chummer is feeling better now.
  6. Not good at all. I wonder if it will kill any asian carp?
  7. Thanks for the report. I may make it out on Sunday morning.
  8. Welcome aboard Dan! Thanks for taking the time and doing an introduction. If you need anything, let out a yell. Mike
  9. This event is the ONLY time you will see anything but a Stinger spoon on my boat! I had an exercism performed on my fishing gear and boat after the event. I need to say "Thanks" to Glen and Greg for joining me in this event on the Pirate ship GLF. No one had to walk the plank for loosing fish. We lost the one fish because it wrapped up in the wire on a wire diver. Arrrrgggghhhhh!!!!!!
  10. I had a snubber come apart this year, and could not find my replacement on the boat. So....I hooked the leader directly to the diver. The next hit on the diver was the last one. The wire broke just above the diver. Minus one diver, one flasher, and one fly. It may have been a bad spot in the wire above the diver. My divers will always have a snubber from now on.
  11. I went fishing with caznik a couple of years ago. A full core went, and Rich and I stood there looking at each other, waiting for the other guy with us to get it. Neither one of us wanted to reel it in. It ended up being a beautiful 14.4lb brown trout shaped like a football, on the end of it. He who laughs last, laughs the loudest.
  12. That was not one of my sons. I am not sure who he was.
  13. Thanks Frank! Hunter likes to drive the boat back in now. He brings it down off plane, drives it thru the marina entrance, turns right at my row of docks, and drives to the front of my dock. I take over from there and back it in. Now if I could just get him to wake up before 9am when we are on the water. It wont be long, and I will just be along for the ride......and to pay for the gas for the boat.
  14. Nice report Nick!
  15. The ones almost straight out, slightly to the North are Paul Jensen's nets. I spoke with him on Sunday after the tourney. They checked them Sunday.
  16. After I got back from fishing on Friday, I was talking with one of the commercial fisherman out of Muskegon and a DNR officer. I was told the Little River band had hired a boat to pull the abandoned nets between Muskegon and Whitehall. On Saturday, I saw the boat pull in. Hopefully they get the nets out of there this week.
