  1. SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Four people are recovering from a boat explosion in South Haven Monday morning. It happened just before 2:00 Sunday afternoon on the Black River. The fire quickly spread to several nearby boats, causing tens of thousands of dollars of damage. Firefighters say a man, woman and child were on the boat when it exploded. Witnesses say they suffered serious burns. Another man who was standing nearby also got hurt and went to the hospital with injuries. One witness says the explosion was so strong the roof of the boat flew off and almost hit him. "All I heard was a loud noise and I saw the roof of the boat flying towards me and so I ran this way and something hit me in the back, shoved me towards my boat," said Steve Eberhard. Several witnesses say the boat's owner was refueling when the explosion happened. Firefighters aren't saying yet if that is what caused it, but they did say that refueling the boat where it was located is illegal. Story

  10. For example, to use offshore wind energy to satisfy all of Michigan's power demands, the state would need to plop 11,469 wind turbines 10 kilometers offshore at a depth of 60 meters, according to the study, authored by Charles McKeown and Soji Adelaja. I clipped this from the story. Just what we need.....11,469 wind turbines in 195FOW. I can see it now....we will be trolling around nets and wind turbines. Maybe they should put in some oil rigs also.....
  11. Nice job Jason. I am not sure about the nets.

  14. I am kicking around the idea of starting a pm weekday division for the new tournament trail in Muskegon. These would be evening tournaments from 4 or 5 - 9pm. There would be 5 qualifying events. The top 30% of the teams from this division along with a wildcard team will qualify for the classic. Would anyone be interested in fishing a pm weekday division out of Muskegon?
  15. Nice job Andy! Any size to the kings?
