I have been in your shoes before Nick. Boats all around catching fish and I could not buy a fish. Nice chatting with you on the radio.

Its time to have a get together and meet a few of the members from the website. We may also drink a few barley pops and swap fish stories. Fishermans Landing has a nice boat launch, fish cleaning station(with a freezer to keep your cleaned fish until you leave) and a campground with electric and showers. Last time I spoke with Deb(Manager at Fishermans Landing), the launch fee is not part of your campsite fee, and will need to be paid for seperately. I believe the use of the fish cleaning station is included in the fee. I will double check on both of these. My sons and I will be getting a camp site, instead of sleeping on the boat at my marina. Bring your family and spend a couple of days fishing and chatting with us.

Yesterday fishing out of South Haven was one of the funnest fishing trips I have been on in a long time. Several members from the website were also out, and we talked on the radio all day long. j1musser, DIRTY DOG, plumkrazy, plumkrazy adam, fishsniffer, fishsniffer2, Silver One, Paulywood, and others. I think what made this trip so much fun was that we were not fishing a tournament. There was no money involved, and we could run as many lines as we wanted. Everyone was sharing lots of information. We planned on meeting up after fishing and grabbing a bite to eat, but by the time we had our boats on the trailers and the fish cleaned, we were all ready to head home. I see a fishing outing is in order.

It only takes a few bad apples to ruin the whole crop. I remember seeing an episode on the Deadliest Catch where someone put a dead fish in the holding tank. It killed all of the crabs in the tank.

I would have had it mounted also. Thats one lucky young man. You never did say what you got it on.....
