Looking at your photo, I see a duplicate of a cell phone I lost out of Port Sheldon 2 years ago. They vibrate when they get wet(I got mine wet in a pool and it vibrated). So....If you get desperate, you can hook it up as a flasher and run a fly behind it.

I am fishing Sunday. I am going to drop in around 100FOW and work around the 120FOW for a little time. If things dont pan out there, I am going on a West troll. Monday I caught fish in the 140-165FOW range, but things have changed since then. The first thing I will set on Sunday will be my rigger with the temp probe. I will run it through the water column checking the water temps. From there, I will adjust my spread to the water temp.

JULY is a great time for a good mixed bag and very consistent action. Some of the best Chinook Salmon fishing on Lake Michigan occurs in Milwaukee during July. This is also the ideal time to fish the Mid-Lake Reef Complex off Milwaukee for Trophy Steelhead, with the extended 7-hour extended offshore steelhead trip. I copied this from a Wisconsin charter fishing website. I realize this is a sales line, but there probably are some nice steelhead there.

My typical spread besides the downrigger, on one side of the boat consists of a wire diver on #3, a full core, half core, and a 2 or 3 color. I have been running this spread for the last 2 season and have yet to have a tangle. This past weekend I ran a deep diver on 1.5(with mag ring), a high diver on 3.5(with mag ring), a full core, and a half core on one side. I control the boat when we have a fish on, and keep the fish in the center of the boat. Whomever is driving at the time probably gets tired of me saying..."turn right, turn right, turn left, turn right, turn right", but it prevent tangles.

I know it's a known attractant. Are you sprying your baits with it?
