  1. Good shootin Matt!
  2. Thanks Adam. I am going to do something with the colors of the walleye section to make it stand out from the salmon section. I had it changed once and did not care for the looks of it. I have this weekend off, so I should be able to finish it.
  3. Nice shooting Adam!
  4. Adds up to 6volts. It could be converted very easily by drilling a hole and adding some wires. I have another idea cooked up, but dont have the $$$ to spend on it, to put it together. It is untested, and would cost a lot of money. If it didn't work, welll you know...... I will leave it as another one of my ideas I "might" get to someday.
  5. Quit it. Your making me feel old.
  6. Welcome aboard Robert. Thanks for taking a minute and doing an introduction! I live in Otsego and have fished out of Muskegon for the last 3 years. Next year I will be fishing out of South Haven. I am curious as to how you are catching steelhead through the ice. Are you fishing an inland lake that is connected to a river?
  7. That sounds like a hoot! What is your set up for steelhead through the ice?
  8. I have a Cuddeback Trail Cam that I have had for around 3 years. I never really paid attention to how many batteries it went through until this year. It seems to be going through a set(4 D cells) of batteries every 2 weeks. My wife picked up a package of 8 D cell batteries from Walmart for me yesterday. The price for the batteries was $11.00. I have used rechargeable batteries and they dont near as long as a regular battery, which is why I use the regular batteries. I think my Cuddeback may end up on ebay.
  9. Yep....Maybe at the end of next season, they(our boats) will meet in front of the storage building again.

    Carbon Arrows

The arrow I shot my doe with on Monday has been through 3 deer now. The blades on the broadhead have been replaced.
  11. Are you sure that wasn't the tournament I won? I purposely made sure I was the last boat out the channel that day to fish out front by myself. Image my suprise when the sun came up and you was sitting in front of me. Brett called me today and told me my baby was tucked away for the winter now. He did ask if the speed and temp sensors on the back of the boat was working. I told him no, and he said it was because of a massive zebra mussle build up. I have been using Water Front Storage since 2006. I believe you followed me there.
  12. This is where they will be posted when the reports come in.
  13. You know whats a shame.....When you park at a ramp, fish for the day, come back and your vehicle has been broke into. This happens alot at BH.

    Carbon Arrows

I absolutely love carbon arrows! My bow is set at 63lbs. I shoot Gold Tip carbon arrows, Hunter XT 5575 with 100gr Thunderheads. This is a very flat shooting combination. I have shot a dozen deer with this arrow/broadhead combination. 90% of the deer I have shot have been a pass through shot.

    Doe

I think the does are the best eating also. Usually the does are the smart ones. I did not get a deer last year, so the pressure is off now.
  19. Thats one dandy buck! Nice job Erik! Make sure to get him entered in this years deer contest.

    Doe

I whacked a doe tonight. I wasn't going to shoot her, but she kept staring at me in the tree. She would start to look down, and quickly look at me again. She did this for a couple of minutes. I think she was checking to see if I was going to move. Well....her game got the best of her, and I decided to let her have it. Fresh tenderloins for me.
  21. I am still working on this area. So far, I created a Walleye Fishing Reports Section with 7 forums for walleye fishing reports. I still have a few loose ends to wrap up.
  22. I have added a few new sections that were mentioned above.
  23. Mine will be going in heated storage at Water Front Storage. It has been there the last 2 winters.
  24. You are not the only one who feels this way. At one time the classifieds were free. If you sold something you were suppose to make a donation to the website. After over 1.5 years and numerous items beings sold on the website, there was zero donations. I do not want a website clustered with advertising, so I am not planning on adding any other advertising besides what is at the top. I use to visit another website. It became so commercialized, I stopped going to it. Their perk for supporting members is that you do not have to view all the ads. I checked other websites to see what they charge to place an ad. I also know what it costs to place an ad in the boat trader or the newspaper. I considered making the classifieds a pay per ad. Members would have to pay a small fee each time they wanted to place an ad. I thought everyone would get a bigger bang for their buck by being able to post unlimited amounts of ads in a year, double the gallery size, a larger private message limit, and access to a private area of the website. vBulletin is coming out with a new version for their software. They will no longer let people pay the $60 annual fee for upgrade support. This means I have to purchase a new license to keep the site up to date and secure. I am open for ideas and will listen to what others have to say about this.
