  1. I have an app that allows me to tether my iphone to a computer. This allows me to use my iphone as a modem so I can get online with the computer.
  2. Nice job mess of fish Phil.
  3. I pay $30 per month for unlimited internet access. You can get a smart phone without internet service. You can use wifi if you can find a place that has wifi to connect to. I also connect to my wireless router at home with my phone. You can check your emails with wifi. NONE of the apps will work without wifi or using the internet service. If you do not have internet service, your smart phone is just another mobile phone when you are on the lake.
  4. Anyone else interested in this?
  5. I have the iphone, and like you said, it does not have flash, so I can not view videos on websites. However....it came with a youtube application, and I can view videos directly on youtube with my iphone. Maybe there is an app for the blackberry that does the same thing as the iphone youtube app.
  6. Those look GREAT Jon!
  7. Jim(1 MAINIAC) asked me what my thoughts were about having a get together during the winter for an outing and having how to's and speakers. I think this is a GREAT idea, and am going to run with it. I am sure I can get plenty of speakers for those who would be interested in listening to seminars. Who would be interested in something like this? The first thing to do is to find a good location to have it. I am thinking the Grand Rapids area. Does anyone know of a place around Grand Rapids?
  8. You might want to mention what type and size of the boat you have.
  9. Welcome to the website Bill. I am not the BEST....just average. There are far more people here that know way more about salmon fishing than I do. Have a look around and you will quickly find out what a GREAT site this is. We look foreward to swapping ideas and fish stories with you. If you need any help spending your money on fishing equipment, you will get replies from many members who are more than willing to lend a hand. Mike
  10. Get us some picks of you and some walleyes when you get it out.

  21. WOW....I live less than 10 minutes East of Allegan and we only got a couple of inches. Its times like this when I am glad I moved away from Duck Lake.

  23. Congratulations to everyone who submitted a photo into this years photo contest. There are lots of good entries in this years deer photo contest. I can not decide on the best photo, so I am going to let everyone vote on the winner. #1 #2 #3 #4 #5
  24. I may take you up on this. My goal is to have 3 HD cameras on the boat for each show. Two of them will be at fixed locations on the boat. There will be a camera person with me for the filming, and I will do the video editing.
  25. Most of you have probably seen my signature( I have something cooking for 2010! ) for the last couple of months. 2010 is now here, so, I will end the suspense and give everyone an inside scoop on what I have cooking. I have been working on a project that I am very excited about. I am so committed to this new project, that I will not be running the GLFTT this season. Dont worry, I have someone else in place to run it, and the GLFTT will be back for the 2010 season! So what am I working on??? I am building an online Great Lakes Fisherman TV show! The shows will consist of salmon fishing, with a mix of walleye fishing mixed in. I will be filming 15-20 shows per season. Shows will be filmed on all of the Great Lakes, in various states, ports and at different times of the year. In addition to the shows, I will also be filming lots of video tutorials. I have been working on the website for a couple of months, and was hoping to have it completed by now. Unfortunately, I do not have it finished. The holidays are over now, and I hope to get things wrapped up soon.
