I found a hole that would have allowed anyone to view the videos. In order to prevent this from happening, I had to password protect the directary. Here is the username and password so you can watch the videos. Username: Energy Password: Michigan1

Don't go throwing a wrench into this thing and telling me it wont work with Ubunto.

I have all but one of the other speakers from the seminar. I have to see how this is working and how much bandwidth I am using with this feature. So far my bandwidth use is speculation. Once I have a handle on things, I will add more. They all will be up there evential.

Your internet connection may not be fast enough. Start the video, and pause it. Let the video load for a few minutes, then you should be able to watch it. On your wireless account, you are probably limited to "x" amount of bandwidth per month. These videos will use a lot of your bandwidth. Keep an eye on where you are at with your bandwidth.

You will be OK. I use several different computers(work, home, etc, etc....) myself to access this website. You will have a unique IP for each ISP. If I do a search by a specific IP, anyone that accesses this website with that IP will show up. If I see multiple user accounts with the same IP, I am going to ask questions. I am not trying to be a bad guy, I am only trying to prevent a possible bad apple from ruiniing the crop. This is a nice added feature for supporting members. With this feature there is an additional cost for me. Bandwidith is expensive!

This is the kind of feedback I am looking for. The video section is new to me and like everything else, I jumped into it blind folded. Each video is approx 300mb. This is probably the issue you are seeing. I may have to scale the quality down some to get faster load speeds.

The first videos are in the video player. They are parts 1 & 2 of dragging for trout. The speaker is Captain Mike Harvey from KC1 Sportfishing. www.kc1sportfishing.com. Mike goes into great depth on his tactics for catching lake trout down deep.

I have completed the video section and made it live. Only supporting members can view the area, and the videos. There is a link in the private area to click on and it will take you to the video player. Currently there are 2 videos to view. I want to test it with mulitple people to see how it works and affects the server before I add more. Let me know if you have any issues.

This area is private and for supporting members only. The video feature was not free, and all the bandwidth a video uses when being viewed is very expensive. Please do not share your log in information with anyone. Everyone on the internet has an IP address. The website software tracks everyones IP. If I find anyone sharing their log in information, their access to this private area will be removed. Thanks, Mike

I have a couple of people testing this feature now. A small issue has been discovered and needs to addressed. Once I have everything working correctly, I will put it in place.

Unfortunately, they use flash and you will not be able to view them with your phone.

You will not be able to download these videos. They have to be viewed online.

First I would like to thank all of you for becoming a supporting member and helping to support this website. I did not have much to offer, but everyone here still became a supporting member. Thank you! I currently am working on adding another feature to the website that only supporting members will be able to use. The new feature is a video player, and I will be hosting the videos. I am keeping this private for the supporting members because of the costs involved with hosting the videos, and bandwidth that is used by members viewing them. Some of you may have viewed the Capt. Chip Klein video in the instructional video section. I uploaded the videos to youtube and embedded them in a post. Youtube limits videos to 10 minutes in length, which is why there are 8 videos. This was a major pain in the rear to break it down into 10 minute segments and upload them to youtube. Then I had to put them all in a post. Currently I have 4 videos of the guest speakers from the Salmon Clinic. Each speaker spoke for approximately 1 hour. What would you prefer to see when watching videos, two 30 minute videos, or a 1 hour video?
