Left the dock at 6:45am in the rain this morning. Ran out to 100FOW and dropped in. Put the boat on a West troll and set lines. Only found colder water by heading West, so we turned around at 120FOW, and headed East. When we hit 98FOW, a full core with a stingray size cory's bait go. We got this fish about half way back, and as it was dancing on the surface, it came unbuttoned. We worked the 80-100FOW the rest of the day and picked up a spawned out steelhead on a 2 color with a stinger size craig's x-mas, and a coho on a wire diver set on 1.5 with 150' of line out on an 11" double fishscale pearl flasher with a siggs rigs brushed stainless fly. Both of these fish came within from 88FOW. We pulled lines at noon and headed in.

I called the dnr today and spoke with them about feeders. If the feeder will cause deer to congregate in one area, it is not allowed. My broadcast feeder will cause deer to congregate in one area. So....I asked if I could use it if I put sunflower seeds in it. I was told that if it causes deer to congregate in one area I could not do it. So I asked if deer ate sunflower seeds. They put me through to a bioligist, but ended up with a voice mail. Doesn't a food plot cause deer to congregate in one area? Does anyone have any more details about the recent feeder case that was dismissed?

Just it time for the fishing to pick up. Hows the repair look?

I have seen very few turkeys around the yard since the dnr put the ban on baiting for deer, and I removed the feeder.

Someone can turn the switch off on the fan any day.

Nice bird Justin. The last couple of years I had a bearded hen hanging around my house. I have not seen any turkeys this year.

I will be there weather permitting. I am already planning on fishing in the rain.
