  1. Sounds like fun and a delicious feast coming afterwards, good job.
  2. We used to have these in Lk. Michigan every August, not anymore now though.
  3. Nice final reports and pics Ed, thanks for the season finale.
  4. Thanks for stopping Brian, and joining, you are finally at home now, enjoy.
  5. Did anyone hear if Bri got her copper set-up? I'd be curious what she got, and how she did with it since last posting, thanks.
  6. Heard at the mouth of the PM in PM Lake, Ludington, quite a few guys getting lunkers by casting in 12 fow with firetiger J-plugs, nice fish too. The PM should be loaded very soon, a lot of fish are coming in smaller runs here and there with no big consistency quite yet since a big run about 2-3 weeks ago here. Strange year and runs.
  7. Glad to have you aboard Jack, now you can relax and enjoy your fish forum, the guys are great here.
  8. Remember too when using trolling bags to have a rear rope attached so you can easily collapse it when you are done and pulling it back in. I have seen many guys not install that rear rope/line, and they complain that it's too heavy to lift out, so that's my tip.
  9. The guys here at GLF are great George, now you can relax and enjoy a forum with great information too. Glad to have you aboard.
  10. Hi Tom, I was in your fair city twice and dropped quite a cash load at Armstrong's Sport shop the last two weeks. Nice shop I will try to visit more often nowadays. Nice people too.

  11. Greetings and great choice to join here Jeff, the guys are real team fisherman. Good fishing Capt..
  12. The guys here are great, glad you like it, me too.

  13. Mostly, combat fishing is horrendous, and I agree, when you have the majority working together with respect, it can be fun, but then there's always that one or two guys that don't know the drill at all, and don't even care to. Sad, and sometimes, way too costly.
  14. I always liked Keewaunee, nice port and charter captains too. Is that old Tug Ludington still around? It was a beauty too. Your Child's Wish day is when? It appears to be a great event with great purpose, good luck to you. Thanks.

  15. You guys all killed me with laughter and joy on this thread, twas great. Like someone else said, sometimes it's better to go to a marina, fisherman oriented, like one advertised in Ludington here now and again. Great port too.
  16. A congenial welcome Steve, great video too. Nice to see some more "cheeseheads" aboard the GLF, many thanks for your input and renewed participation.
  17. Thanks for joining Ryan, you will find this site friendly and cordial, no shenanigans or insulting types allowed. Enjoy and good fishing.
  18. Good report Ken, keep up the good work!
  19. I heard the Tribes have new stats. on how many wolves are out there, and base on their, not "our" stats, they have the upper hand on how many can get harvested, same with coyotes, or so I heard. Thanks.
  20. Nice report on Ludington Shane, thanks, and many happy returns here, the "gold coast salmon fishing capitol"!
  21. I've been to Kewaunee many times, both by my own boat, and the carferry in the old days out of Ludington. Nice port, good fishing too, and many nice people to visit there. I liked your tournaments too, fished a couple in the day, great. Thanks for joining, this is a nice forum for the avid and beginner fisherman, hope you enjoy.
  22. Excellent report Collin, keep up the good work, hope to see ya someday. What's your boat name?
  23. Good choice for now Jacob, just don't use Fireline, it's atroscious!
