NO MO BEGGEN

nice job terry and crew wish it wasnt so rough we would have been out there in the deeper water also

finally got my new boat NO MO BEGGEN ready to fish this past week and made it out with my wife and sea-mac this morning. ended up 2-3 fished 15-20 ft. of water from the peir south. first fish was a 14 inch white bass that came on a blue and silver stick bait. second was a big fish hooked up in 16ft. of water on a blue-green dolphin and a 3 color just south of the peir kept taking line and got loose never did see it. third fish was a nice coho about 5 lbs. right in front of the peir heads as we were heading in. this came on a blue circus freek and a 3 color also. not a bad first trip sence we didnt need a tow did have 2 problems 1 with the radio could receive good but did not send well and the boat will not idle down any slower than 3.8 - 4.1 mph on the gps so i got a couple of things to work out. but got slime and scales in the boat

nothin beats a good bomber hat on a cold day thks for the trip mike

sea-mac ran a green glow squid 2 years ago with real good sucess last year not to much they seem to work better during the later months of the season

looks like a great time you dont ever get away from fishing lol

i like p-line i use 8lb in the river for steels and tend to bend the hooks before it will break on a snag so i am planing on useing it on the big lake also. ties up nice and seems to resist abrasion very well

just kind of happens that way but thats ok the more she catches the more i get to go lol dirving fine with me aslong as im on a boat lol. to bad the rivers will be messed up for a few days now. that just means i got a few days to start putting the boat together if the rain quits

heres a couple of pictures of what teresa and i got this week. altogether weve picked up six fish with 2 males and 4 hens:D fishing the k-zoo spawn bags with floaters off the bottom. the big one in the top picture was a 8.3 lb hen teresa cought before i even got out of work that evening. i think shes getting ready to kick my butt on the big lake

i thought i might try them on the fall steelies speed trolling or this spring on the cohos no tape on the back just chrome but there are four with glow tape on them

just wondering what you guys think of these spoon i just picked up from ebay. not exactly sure what kind they are they just said pro salmon spoons. they kind of reminded me of the pro kings

i dont have one but with d and r and gold coast having there big sale you may get a good deal at those places to bad there on the same day

just wondering if anyone on here has been ice fishing there lately. im heading up there this weekend to fish with my brother. neither one of us is familiar with the lake. kind of looking for info were a good area to start looking for fish might be.

on a big jon rigger if it has a 2ft. arm do they measure from the front of the cable spool to the tip or back towards the bend of the arm. and can you buy arm exstensions for them to make it longer

i dont think he could count them all between him plumkrazy and the ones if taken its got to be over 1000 fish

i just want to give a big thanks to the guys who were selling items at the swap meet saturday. they were very helpfull with chooseing rods and reels and giving advice on things to buy. and giving good deals on the things we did buy. some of the venders started calling teresa and i the newbies as we would come back to tables and buy some things . sadly i did here of one instance of shop lifting. which i really cant figure out why someone would do this at a church and fund raising event rdfishin aka. the newbie

are the cabela depth master 2 rods and reels as good as the okuma brand or any of the other upper priced rods and reels out there the cabela brand seems to be real close to the okumas with a smaller price

i heard of some guys getting on the channel of hutchens lake with 3 inches of ice

i noticed a few lakes around allegan county starting to ice over any body know of any further north fishable

i think everyone does this -NO BANANAS ON THE BOAT
