  3. nice job guys good talking to ya out there last night and putting faces with names at the cleaning station. we went 4-5 with pretty much the same report three on the riggers and 2 on the dippsies
  4. can any one tell me what the purpose of this little fin is in the center of the lower unit. i know it adjusts left and right. when i am on plain at a high speed the boat leans to the left no matter how i adjust the trim and i was wondering if i turn this fin a little to the right if it will level the boat out on the left
  5. i had the same problem with my boat i just got and i had to get the carb rebuilt

  8. went out this morning with the wife kind of late set line at 8 am in 90 fow got to 108 and hooked up first fish on the 10 color with a dw green glow frog after getting it in the cooler turned south and stayed in 108 picked up 3 more fish. one on the blue buuble fly one on the yellow-purple fly, and anotheron the green frog. the last fish turned the boat south east and brought us into 85 fow turned to go west back to the 108 fow and and picked up our 5th fish on the yellow-purple fly which sea-mac tied up for me he called it a RD-RAZOR. got back to 108 and turned north our other 10 color went with a flintstone green dolphin sorry no picture of that spoon because it broke me of lost spoon fish and about 6 colors. finished the day 5-6 8am-12:30 pm from the pier down to the last slide and back sorry the spoon looks all yellow but the tip and the butt are green and heres what the boat looks like

  10. it could have been i talked to somebody at the dock about some of the moonshines i ran without any luck
  11. went out after work with a fellow co-worker set lines in 70 ft of water and went west to 135 and made a south turn. on the turn picked up a 5lb king 50 down on the rigger with a blue and black glow flintsone spoon. about half way to the first slide the ten color went with a moonshine spoon picked up another small king about 6lbs. turn back north after that got back out in front of the pier heads in 120 and the same rigger went with the blue spoon but came on done only felt the fish for a few seconds. fished till dark went 2-3 had a hard time keeping the lines clear of fleas. any one know the names of these spoon please let me know thks
  12. problem solved bought the old radio from terry out of the old dog put it in my boat and works really good thks terry for the deal
  13. im having an issue with my ship to shore it receives good but i cant transmit. ive been told twice that they can hear me key the mic but no sound. ive tested 2 differant mics besides mine and nothing so i know its not the mic.i was wondering if there is two differant wires in the antena one to send and one two receive and the send wire might be broke. or is there something in the radio box messed up thks in advace for your info
  14. i made my own set this past spring and all the holders are at 45's. i just staggered them down the pole so the top holder is towards the front of the boat a little the middle one is centered and the bottom one is set a little towards the back of the boat. i think i off set each one about 2 degrees and they work really well.
  15. nice job last night jim i was with mike on his boat its always fun to have someone to b.s. with on the radio while your fishin sorry i should have introduced myself at the cleanin station just slipped my mind. its roger by the way
  16. i didnt hear any thing about a skunk just a fish not worth keeping
  17. big fish killer adam came through again this was our last fish of the day and the biggest. he picked the spoon set the rigger and cought the fish. it was all done himself. fish came 60 down on a moonshine spoon just after noon. great job adam. thks for the trip guys always a ball fishin with you
  18. thks for the trip terry it was a blast doubles and triples and singles every thing you could ask for on a after work fishin trip see ya saturday in holland hope its still that good
  19. got the boat out of the shop today and going on a test run sunday if every thing goes good teresa and i will be there
  20. teresa and i took our grandaughter kira crappie fishin tonight didnt catch alot of fish but had lots of fun on her first trip ever. went to a lake over by bloomingdale and guess whos there dirty dog. the bite was pretty slow i think due to the brite sun out. we fished along the lillies with minnows under a bobber. the dog seemed to do a little better but we had a little one taking up most of our fishin time she just turned 3 and if your wondering she lost her hair with a fight of canser this past winter but made it through every thing ok thk god
  21. if it were me id use petrolium jelly for the fact it dont have much of a smell if any in the case it gets on your hands or lures
