  1. most of the boats ive seen includeing mine are carpeted under the rails. so you just press one barb into the carpet and your good to go. they come out really easy due to the tight woven boat carpet. or ive seen people use a short length of 1/2 x 2 peice of trim wood with a bunch of little holes drilled along the top edge
  2. just wondering who will be out friday morning. ill be out of holland. with the first trip of the year had several issues to take care of with the boat and finally got them worked out i hope:eek:
  3. take a look on photobucket.com and put brook trout in the serch bar and see if theres any there you like

  8. ive ran these in the past and have never had any issues putting out lines. just put them out like normal shallowest one first deepest one last. and i have always hooked them onto the lead core about 5 ft. above the knot where the leader starts
  9. nice job don hopefully they wont have to do the same for you someday. but if it is needed im sure they will be the first in line

  12. i figure if you have the money to do a rebuild go for it you can always find someone to fish with. do it right or not at all
  13. give those two a couple days in a row in muskegon and they'll catch just as many up there trust me ive been around them alot in the summer and ice fishin and they just plain catch fish

  17. the prop on my boat right now is a 14.5 x 19p and its pretty beat up. i have a used one i thought i would replace it with but its a 14 x 19p. dose anyone know would that half inch in dia. make any differance in how the boat would perform

  21. if it were me i would put them right even with the backrests of your driver and passenger seats so the persons driveing and rideing would not be in the way of grabbing a rod when it goes off. and you wouldnt have to lean over someones back to get it
  22. i was looking through this weeks sale add and meijers has all there rapalas on sale this week for 25%off if you need to add to your selection or replace some lost ones this seems like a pretty good deal to me
