  1. you do not need the twili tip just use a regular rod the copper will not hurt the gides as it is softer than the guides and any time you add knots or weight to aline you are asking for problems the more times you have to stop and take some thing off the more time the fish has time to get off if you get a 300 it will work most of the year
  2. the farther south you at that time of the year the better you will do the brown fishing is not what it use to be up by you board diver and riggers all will work use smaller spoons and fish top to bottom as the water is perrty much the same temp top to bottom dont be afraid to go out deeper some times in the spring the fish will sneek by out deeper oranges greens and blues work well at that time of year very your speed till you find what works and stick with the trool and you will do alright
  3. i have been running big jons for over 11 years and have not had any problems with them i have capt pacs pro tournys and brutes all have done me good

  9. Mike, another thing when fishing stuff that deep is, make sure you have tight releases so that they hook themselves good if you don't get on it right away
  10. Mike the next time you are getting bit and they are getting hooked very well. Try change your angle a couple of dregrees
  11. the fishing in holland is good right now got our 2 man limit tonight the blood run wire divers were on fire tonight with crome blue sipnnies 250 back rolling 3.5 on the gps get out there and get them guys:thumb:

  13. I run silver streak clear braided sunbers I use 12 inch on my mono and 18 inch on my wires. Have not had one break or sun rot they are thin ones
  14. Terry the minis were are best baits last night they took 9 of the 12 for us last night

Made a couple of short trips with my grils this weekend sat we went out for an hour and my daughter got her frist two salmon and agian on sun night when she got another king and nice steelhead she picked the baits and the rods to put them on and on sunday she was pointing out the bites to us before we saw them not bad for a 6 year old.

  22. There are some fish out there in 130-150 fow try going a little more south next time.
