  1. Ya in the afternoon we had 30 in under an hour and a half.
  2. and your customers:lol:
  3. yep, their are so many boats for sale right now you can get a smokin deal on a hard top designed for great lakes trolling.
  4. Thanks Matt, you had to highlight one of our worst trips this season. I was hoping nobody saw this, Just kidding. To bad it was the day we shot the video. Guess that's how it goes.
  5. What size bait is in the fish your getting?
  6. Fish 2 trips yesterday. The morning was a slow go for us. With the Northeast winds all week the fish moved out deeper and I should have done the same, guess I panicked and stayed in close. Ended up with 9 in the morning. So in the afternoon we started in 70 and made a northeast troll out to 145. Fishing was AWESOME with 32 fish in 1 1/2 hours. It didn't matter every rod took fish with quadruples on just about the whole time. Orange spin doctors and aqua flies and white pro trolls with aqua flies on the riggers from the surface down to 50 feet. Just goes to show how important it is to be on fish and not second guess yourself. When expierence tells you to do something you should listen.
  7. Hopefully that guy that cut off my planer boards Sunday is still digging line out of his props!
  8. Fog, fog, fog, and more fog both days this weekend. Fished 35-50ft both days. The fish Saturday started hitting well right away boating the first 8 fish without a loss, and after that it got real frustrating where at one point it took 12 bites to boat 3 fish. They just were not fully commiting when hitting. Ended up 20 for 40:eek:. Sunday was much better and the fishing was alot faster, we had 21 for 25 by 7:30am. Both days the baits were the same, orange baby spin doctors and aqua flies were best for the cohos and white blades with aqua flies took a few kings. Best speed was 1.8 on the depth raider.
  9. I can't believe how cheap your selling that stuff for, If I was just starting out I'd buy it all.
  10. Sorry I shouldn't have laughed, but Josh made me think about those Tred Barta episode where he beats the crap out of the tuna. I have seen fish where the meat was all bruised and blood shot though. Actually I remember one day we had about 3 fish we cleaned where the meat was bruised and all scared up and pus filled. I actually gave the fish to the dnr and they said they never saw that before.
  11. 40lb ande works great. Doesn't have to be leader line.
  12. nice:lol:
  13. A core down the chute is asking for trouble, If you want a core down the chute run a swr on your chute rigger, or any rigger for that matter. It's hard enough keeping an angry king out of your boards, let alone a long line right behind your boat.
  14. I heard the cohos are by you now and fishing is real good. Alot has changed in the last week.
  15. That about sums it up perfect. You do have to produce and finish consistently high in tourneys to get their attention. You remember the guys who are consistently in the top 5 of the tournaments.
  16. I never drive around looking for fish without baits in the water. You wont mark the cohos on your locator either cause they are in the top 20 feet or so. What we do when we are looking for cohos is just troll east, dont mess around with north or south till you find them. We knew from friday that the fish weren't inside of 50 feet. So that's where we setup on Saturday and headed east. 1 in 60, 1 in 70, a double in 85, 1 in 90 and nothing out to 120. So we spun in 120(the water was to cold anyways 39 degrees) and headed west, 1 in 105, 1 in 95 and got to 85 and it picked up so then we turn the boat south and zig zagged between 85 to 90 and fishing was steady.
  17. Good luck and get well soon.
  18. Nice catch, fishing has been real tough the last 3 days.
  19. Ya, just prepare yourself for search mode. It took us a few hours to find them.
  20. I don't think he has a website, but I know he can get literally anything you want. Pm Jim and he will help you out.
  21. One heck of a start! We never got a fish over 18lbs all last season! Keep it up.
  22. Hey guys, just wanted to pass on some info about one of our members. jimcr does embroidering and t shirts. He just finished an order for me and they look AWESOME!! I couldn't be happier. I sent Jim a picture of my boat and he set it up. I checked some prices from other places before contacting Jim and he beat them by a mile! His work is way more detailed than other embroidery shops and Jim took pride in getting it perfect. So if anybody is interested in Tournament apparell or any clothing for that matter I would deffinetly recommend Jim. Sorry the pictures of the jackets don't do them any justice but between the one with the flash and without you can see the detail. The nice thing about how Jim does the T shirt is he uses Vinyl so you don't have to pay for silk screening set up if you only want a few Shirts.
  23. 5/6 1-6pm trip fished 35- 50 on scattered fish. Worst numbers in a few weeks 4 for 7. The fish that were right out front have moved out deeper. 5/7 morning went out deeper to try to find the school. Started in 50ft and headed east out to 120ft. Water in 120ft is 39 degrees and to cold. One here one there, best fishing was in 85-95 with orange spin doctors and aqua flies on surface lines taking fish and white flashers and aqua flies on the riggers down 30-45 feet taking the rest. Depth raider speed 1.8. went 12 for 15 all cohos
  24. I switched to spro also. Used to use sampo and in the last 2 years I had about a dozen of the 45# cost locks break on me.
