Down-n-Out

I need pistons/rings/gaskets for an 89 90 3cyl. That should tell everyone how my fall fishing went.

GJ, I tried to get out about 6pm and the waves were too big for my little boat. The bigger boat has to sit another year Tried Manistee Lake and the river but came u with a big zero. Heard some good reports from famiy and friends that there are a few in the lower BM. I'll be back up there over the holiday to try again.

Thanks Rich, I did try the google search and yahoo search, waded through 100's of pages and still can find the site I'm looking for. The site I'm looking for had a map of michigan and all you had to do was click on an area and it would list all the ramps in that section of the state. It give information on the ramp, boat size, parking, and driving directions. I guess I'll have to keep searching.

Looking for some help. I had a site bookmarked that I could search for a launch and it gave a full discription and links to maps. Unfortunately I lost the link. Does anyone know of this site or one like it?

Many thanks for the warm welcome. The title tag line is from Austin Powers. I do have a few pictures of my boat taken last summer when I was installing the new interior that I will have to upload. I still need to do some wiring, trim work and clean-up/paint the exterior. I traded my CJ7 toy for it and a full truck load of new parts that had to be installed. But I was laid off for 8 months last year, that allowed me to mow the lawn and not much more LOL I really need to get my butt in gear and get one boat ready to go, tis the season.

I must say I have always been a Ford fan, I help developed the diagnostics on the 7.3L and know they held up good. My girlfriend had a 03 D-max and I feel in love with it. Great mileage, nice ride, and lots of power. Funny thing, now I develope the diagnostic's for the new D-max. So keep me in a job an buy a D-max.

Hello all, just join the site today and I am surprize I have not found it sooner. I'm from Owosso and fish mainly the west side Manistee area for Salmon in the rivers and just started getting into the big water. I just hooked onto a bigger boat (the Down-N-Out) last year that I have been refreshing and planning on getting out in the water soon. Until then I still have my 17.5ft smokercraft that I take about everywhere. I also fish out of the Black River for Walleye on the St. Clair, but I'm thinking about giving the bay a try this year.

Hi, I'm another one that followed the tread from the other site. I read through this thread and being a bit of a geek I think going with a solid state HD would cancel the need for a rough service laptop. I have an old dell 2.4ghz laptop that I and going to use and see how long it will last. I was also thinking of hooking my hummingbird depht finder/GPS into the laptop or at least piggy back the GPS antenna to the PC. Going to have to sit down and figure that one to see if it's possible. Anyway, I'd like to say hello and thank you Frank and others for all the great information.
