The new engine and drive package is an excellent match for this boat and it runs like a brand new boat (mechanically it is new). The boat is completely set up and ready to fish for Great Lakes Salmon or big lake Walleye. If you're looking for a 100% reliable boat (if there is such a thing) with a reliable trailer, this will provide years of fishing/cruising at a great price. The bad: It's an older hull and it has it's battle scars. That said it still takes a decent shine and we still get the occasional compliments at the launch. There are certainly newer looking boats (late 1990's) in the same size & price range but that still leaves you with a 20 year old engine and outdrive........ The reason for selling the boat is that we bought a cabin a couple years ago and decided that a pontoon is a better fit for our current needs.
