We have our own coyote hunting dogs, these are walker hounds. On a fresh snow we get up before day light and look for tracks, It is very similar to rabbit hunting, however we dont cast our dogs out. It is so much fun however we are very succesfull. We have killed 37 so far this year. Thats dead coyotes and wounded perhaps 10 more that we didnt recover. We hunt the Hesperia to Pentwater region of michigan! Hope to get more snow so that we can hunt again. We have been hunting now for 8 years and have killed a total of 389 coyotes! What a great way to stay in shape in the winter and have fun doing it!
