  1. Well Dean last year was my first year fishing for Browns and we did really well inside the breakwall in Milwaukee . We started fishing at the end of March and the Browns lasted into the first week of May. Deepest we fished was 35ft. 20-25ft down. pulling Spoons.
  2. If your boat is accessible now and your charger will do a float charge or maintenance charge i would do that now. As for running the motor I would not go hog wild right out of the gate . but once its warmed up it should be fine. I would definitely add some fresh gas . On my last boat I kept my battery's in my shop and kept a float charge on them.
  3. you bet, cant wait til next year

  7. somewhere in the 16-18" here. The shop was open but none of the suppliers were. Working in a body shop and owning a 4wd truck we are expected to be at work. When I woke up this morning a city plow was assisting a medic unit that was stuck on our street. He had plowed the snow right up to my truck. Put it in 4low and walked right out. We have 8ft fences at work and the snow was well over the top before they plowed out the lot. out west of us they had the National Guard helping out with all the stuck cars an plowing operations. some of the drifts were 20ft.

With the west winds and the winds changing ever few days the thremocline never really set up. Adam are you a member of GLSF of Milwaukee?

  18. Has anyone seen any videos on how to properly deploy wire dipsys. I have heard that if you put one out into your spread wrong it will tangle all the other rods on that side.
  19. Download a program called Photorazor, it will do all your photos from one folder all at once, at the size you tell it. I use it and run it right after I upload my photos to my computer. You won't have to get a different camera. http://www.stormdance.net/software/photorazor/software overview.htm
  20. When you say bank reef what are you referring to? Would I be able to figure it out on a chart?
  21. But you must know his MMSI # . What is most important is that if you have it hook it up,Because not only will the coast guard get this info. everyone who has the DSC radio and it is functioning will be able to help out. I will let you guys know how mine turns out , I am still looking for a chart plotter. We have the boat show for the next 10 days and I hope to get some more info there.
  22. Back in June we did fair , what I can tell you is that we were not out that deep. Early in the year ,June uptil the floods in July, we fished from 70 to 120 feet. After the floods and the wind we fished mostly in the 50 to 60 ft. When the lake straightened out we were fishing back out deeper in 90-160. Towards September the bite moved either in the gaps if you were there at the right time or out deep 280-320ft . Hope that helps.
  23. Is there a coast guard station near you? if so I would give them a call or email them to confirm that . that was 2 years ago and this is suppose to be system wide.
  24. Here is a slide show I found ,Boat US did it . The link came from The coast guard. Its called "Can you hear me" I only went a few minutes in but looks to be very informative. http://www.boatus.com/foundation/dsc/player.html?WT.mc_id=400090
