  1. Great catch, good luck in Holland!
  2. Nice king, thanks for the report!
  3. I just let them out until they bump bottom and will check them periodically to make sure they aren't fouled. Sent from my SM-G920V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  4. Wire divers work good, just have to let them way out and bump bottom or be very close to it. Spin doctors work too with spin and glows, they are more speed forgiving than dodgers if you want to target salmon higher in the water column too.
  5. Pulled at 10am and heading in with 4. Sent from my SM-G920V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  6. Just took a Lk trout on a blue bubble spin doctor and blue bubble fly on a diver out 125. Sent from my SM-G920V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  7. Been quite for awhile, we just took a rip on a diver with a green chrome spin n glow and green chrome spin doctor, had a few thumps and he got off. We are working north of Sable pt, 120 ft of water early, we have started working out and north. Sent from my SM-G920V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  8. There's a few kings around. Didn't expect much but we started with 3 fish flurry, one rip on a rigger, then a 12lb king on glow frog spin doctor and a glow squid on a rigger at 46ft, lost a real nice king on a green gasoline meat rig on a diver at 90 ft. Then we got a Lk trout on the green gasoline meat rig at 90 on the diver. 10 minutes ago we got a nice steelies on a 3 color with a stripetastic moonshine. 3 in the box, hope we can keep it going with the sun up. 11. Great catch Kevin, gotta love that bite away from the crowd! Are they planting skams there or are all those strays?
  12. Nice job on the fish Mike! If the wind was blowing toward land, maybe walk the beach for your boards? Hope you find them. I've returned a couple sets with names/ph over the years, got one of mine back that way with my number on them and kept a few nice boards without names since I had no way to find the owner nor heard about a loss dockside. You'll have a great story to share with your grandkids some day about their parents.
  13. I'd look for some used electrics, they are so much nicer than manual riggers when the fish are deep. When I started out, I had 2 homemade manual rigger with 2x6 frames, a washing machine wheel to hold the cable, square steel arms, a pulley on the end and a nail through the frame to stop it where you wanted it. Had a round flasher graph to watch depth. I just kept upgrading from there over the years,

  15. Fished out of Bolles around the dumping grounds yesterday. We had a hot bite and 2 of us caught 30 walleyes. Trolling scorpion spoons and diver disks back 50,60,70ft. Also on riggers off the bottom and a gold/blk hot and tot took a couple nice fish. Too bad we had to throw back 25 of the 30 we caught being shorts. Lot's of 14 -1/2 inchers. We didn't have our Ohio licenses or we would have ran east looking for bigger fish. We did get one nice one about 6lbs, 4 of the keepers were decent. 16. Nice catch Ken, I was there and going to fish on a friends boat and he ended up cancelling due to the winds Sat and Sun. I wasn't too disappointed. Monday looked like the best daybut I was back home.
