Last couple of days have been great to take pics. Fishing has been slow so I grabbed the camera. There is a little spotting on this pic. Sun bouncing off the lens?
This photography hobby is ALMOST as addictive as fishing!
Depending on the time of year, I always fish for multiple species. Usually 2 middle riggers deep with attractors and flies. Riggers 1 and 4 shallower with spoons. Normally the 1 rigger 10ft. from bottom. The 4 rigger 20ft. from bottom. I use these rods as "searchers". I dont depend on dipsies that much any more. On Huron, wire dipsies and meat rigs used bring some bigger Kings. I dont run them often, not enough kings around anymore. Instead Ive add more lead core. You would be surprised on the number of rips that I get running flat lines or 1 color rods in the middle of summer in 70FOW. I dont fish temp at all. I fish bait. If there is bait that is out of temp there will be predators there. People laugh because I dont have a temp probe but my Furuno graph tells me all that I need to know to catch fish.
First off sorry, I posted those pics in the area area! Opps. Just wanted to ask if if anyone has a good resource for used lenses besides Ebay. I looked at B and H and they seem to be a bit on the high priced side. Looking to add another piece of glass down the road.
Not much else going on so I thought that I would take a few photos. Maybe I should have been inland fishing 'Gills. Oh well, always tommorow.
Almost ready for leadcore!!
Two words on the first time out. "IT STUNK" I guess that we are just going to have to get out a little more. Things are really slow for most of the guys getting out.
I had made mention to a very good friend of mine that I wanted to make a cutting board. A couple of days later Paperboy (Paul) comes over to the house with this artwork. I almost hate to use it. Just wanted thank him again.
Pic not that good. I need to get a better flash for indoor shots.
Just wondering what you guys are using for cameras. Nikon,Canon, Sony, etc? I have a Nikon D5000 and love it!! It does everything that I want and much more. Just getting into the photo thing, almost as addictive as fishing.
Hey Scott, Is that a 1988? I think that I may have looked at that boat before I bought my 27'. Nothing catches fish like a Tiara!! I guess I need to get some pics of my rig. Nice looking boats11
When I take my Nikon I just stick the camera inside my coat. No Problems thus far. Havent taken it out in any really artic stuff yet. Mt cousin takes his D700 out in anything but a driving rain.
