  1. I've had the bert's for a while now and they might not be a nice as the cannons but they've held up really well and have no complaints.
  2. Wow, what a great mess of fish you have there.
  3. Welcome David
  4. Nice job on a crazy day.
  5. Nice job and great pics of the kids.
  6. Thanks for the report and nice job with the Browns.
  7. That's a very nice boat Tony. Congrats!
  8. Nice job Grant.
  9. I seem to catch the bigger kinds an hour before dark.
  10. Great job and thanks for the info.
  11. I bet it sure felt good to be out there after all that work.... Great Job!
  12. Yep, I agree with Don. Pretty easy to do and it's real similar to a reel and the drag. If you don't want to spend money and still see if it's that just take off the clutch assembly from the rigger that works and put it on the other to see if it fixes it.
  13. That's a real nice look.
  14. Not a problem at all. The only time I see a problem is if you tilt the rod and reel as you bring the line in. Of you tilt it then it'll want to spool all on one side and it becomes a mess. In fact, I have one setup that's not a levelwind and it's my favorite. Just wish it wasn't so expensive so I could get all my long lines setup with that.
  15. I dipped one of mine in the rubberized paint stuff. Worked well but there might be better options out there.
  16. I had a happy troller a few years back. It worked fine but on my new boat I don't have one and won't be putting one on. The happy troller I had was a pain at times and wouldn't "catch". Then I forgot to put it up one time and bent the heck out of it. I use buckets with holes drilled in them now instead of trolling bags and they work well. Plus, it makes the boat a little more stable in waves.
  17. Nice job Jarod, crazy weather isn't it?
  18. I'm not really complaining but I just thought I'd bring this up. I see in posts that a bunch of people use thin fins early in the season and do really well. After going out Saturday it reminded me how I simply can't catch anything with them. For three years now I've put them on in the coho run and I don't remember catching a single fish. In the first year I'd have close to half my rods set with them in various colors but mostly the dark orange with black stripes. Mostly the "new" kind but I do have some of the old ones from my dad. Now, I put one on "just to see". Speed anywhere from 2-3 and depth all over the place but mostly less than 20. Like I said, not complaining because I've been doing pretty well with Rapala's and Flashers and Flies. Just thought it was weird.
  19. Nice boat! That thing looks HUGE.
