  1. My new to me boat came with some cannon riggers. 2 mag 10's and 2 digitroll II. They seem to be really slow (even slower than I thought their age should be) and 2 of them actually flipped the circuit a few times. I heard that cannons have a lifetime warranty on their motors. Does anyone know if that's correct?
  2. 8 gallons or so with the boat, but like others the truck is the gas eater. Probably $80-100 each trip.
  3. Actually both fish were off my other dipsey rods with braid. I ran one of the new rods with wire down deep and had two on but lost them both. Gotta get my fishing partners used to fighting a fish with wire......
  4. Well, after what seems like ages with the new boat I finally got it out last night and was able to fish for a few hours. Had kicker problems at the start, it wouldn't go into drive. Adjusted the cables and viola, it worked but I got grease on my hands and forgot to bring a towel or anything to wash with. So, had to rely on fishing partners to set things up and it drove me NUTS not being able to do stuff. Ended up with 5 fish and lost a few. I know we had at least 2 on that we lost but had many releases and were trying to dial in the releases and such. 4 Nice kings and a little coho. Here's what worked: 1 nice king on 300ft. of 45lb copper with 8" mountain dew SD with proctologist fly. 2 kings on dipsey with SS green skirt UV spoon at 125 to 180 1 king on White paddle with homosezwhat fly on rigger at 90 1 coho on flintstones candy corn spoon on 5 color Not a bad first time out with the new boat.
  5. Awesome pics with the kids.

  7. Thanks, just came up.
  8. I was looking at the Big Lake Lures website a few weeks ago and putting together a list of what I wanted. Now when I try to go to their website, I can't find it anymore and keep getting bounced to a facebook spot. Does any know if they've changed it to a facebook, or where I can find the old site? Thanks
  9. Looks like a bunch of fun there!
  10. Way to adjust Don, nicely done.
  11. Nice looking fish. Good job.
  12. Nice job Kevin. Watching the pier cams looks like the word is out already about the shallow fish.
  13. Nothing wrong with that on your first trip out.
