  1. thanks Ted for the report
  2. Either Way will get you in the zone, Have a tin can with spin & glow 10-15 behind. You will find green.
  3. Thanks to Aaron and his son Evan for going along. Went 8 for 6 (I don't count the small shakers that never pulled back on the long lines) Straight out of holland setup in 60 fow stayed in 80 to 100 all day doing circles between holland and saugy. Yes I was lost in the fog. 1 nice King (11#) - two shakers rest all Lakers. big laker was just over 17# what worked best Silver Streak UV half black/half chrome with black ladder on a 250 32# Bloodrun copper setup. went 4 times. big king was on Silver Steak lemon ice spoon rigger 60 down. big laker was on rigger sliver tin can with small green spin-n-glow, pounding the bottom. divers never went. shakers were on 50 foot coopers with reels with poor drags. drug the life right out of these poor fish. two other items. one of the lakers had a fresh lamprey scar. no blood in this fish when cleaning and the liver was yellowish / green. second, the tranny blew a seal, we caught it right away and shut that motor down. boat will be coming back out end of this weekend and hope I will have it back in the water within a couple of days.
  4. on the other hand, we watched a disturbed boater power hard away from the Holland DNR launch this weekend. with a simple yell to slow down he proceeded to flip me off and then call me names. I invited him back to the dock to further discuss his cranial-anal inversion, he kept going at over no wake speed. the sheriff boat was just around the corner and Karma took its course.... I hope he did get a ticket. and if you are on this site - I hope you enjoyed it....

  10. Very cool on that once in a lifetime fish.
  11. The wife and I grabbed a pizza, bottle of wine, and six rods and headed out for a shakedown trip Saturday night Headed south, setup just outside the pier head. Move in to 15 fow. Ran all spoons. Went 2 for 3. Fish came 3 miles south. Pictured fish was a 3 color with mixed veggies. Other fish landed was on a 150 blood run setup silver streak mini yellow with 3 orange dots. Great sunset, boat ran great everything worked. Not bad for 1 1/2 hours.
