If your goal is to target the 2 yr old fish, start 120 to 150 fow NW troll. watch graph for bait and fish, once you pick up a couple turn a little more NNW to N. would not go past the 220 - 230 depth.
target 30 to 50 foot deep,
plugs, spinnies and spoons.
not sure on your setup, but here is my setup for next weekend
rigger 1 - wonder bread 8" paddle & WB fly down 50 Hot
rigger 2 - Spoon - moonshine
inside diver - on 1 100 - 200 back MT dew spin doc
outside diver - on 2.5 150 back blue splatter back spin doc
diver other side similar depth with mix of green spin doc or a plug
200 cooper - plug, crome w/red head
200 cooper - sliver horde green splatter
5 color mix veg spoon Hot.
5 color blue berry muffin or Area 51 both were hot last weekend.

way to stick it out in the fog, we did about the same that morning, started in 50 fow straight out trolled to 200 then south and back north. the fog did lift a little out at 200, but on the run back in took a while due to the thicker fog.

Had a sailboat 3 weeks ago run 200 yrd across the front of the boat. we were on a south troll, he was headed west. went 300 yrd past us, did a 180 turn and was coming right back at us. I lay on the horn and yell out a few wtf's his way, my outside board was up againts the side of his boat, what a jacka$$. I guess he wanted my cell number off the board, but he never called.

3rd and final day in Muskegon - fished from 9am to noon.(didn't get gas the night before had to wait for the gas dock to open up)
10 fish box out just before noon. had lines pulled by 12:15.
1 laker
3 steel
rest all kings.
6 to 13 #
started in 100fow north between the nets.
tried a W-SW troll - wind, waves, and current was a mess. ended going NW as the only way to keep boat straight with just two of us in the boat. Worked all the way out to 220 fow. ended just south of Whitehall, with a long 2 1/2 hour speed troll back at 8 mph due to the rough water.
2 riggers
2 divers
and 2 - 300' 45# coppers did the damage.
target depth 50 to 65 down on riggers.
divers - mag's set on 1 - 120 - 200 back.
8" spin doc's and paddles MT Dew, Wonder Bread, Blue splater back.
did not put big white paddle down at all today. it didn't take a fish at all this trip???
but who cares because every thing else did.
great trip, thanks Ryan for joining me, thanks Ken and Jake for coming out for two of the day's.
we ended up with 3 trips out on N II DEEP with a total of 33 fish landed, and 3 put back for next year.
my personal best of 26#.
I had never had a 20+ before so this is a big deal for me.
