  1. Congratulations buddy.
  2. We do the your side / My side contest all the time when were fun fishing. our setups are very similar to Dave's. white paddles inside and deep. if spoons are taking fish - they will also go on the riggers, sometimes with fixed sliders. spoons or plugs on the high lines. I have run smaller 8" flasher off high lines, but with a 50% tangle rate.
  3. Boats in so far: ruff draft Outta the Woods Motion show nick of time Scooby Snacks N II Deep - Undertow

  6. I always do better when Jim has issues on the water, cause sniffer is towing him back in.
  7. it's not a league, just a group getting together to fish one Saturday a month out of Holland, MI. no real deadline either. I just like to get an idea of how many boats are going to be in so I can let the sponsors know how many lures to send. it's good to see how others have there boats setup and find out whats working. we encourage open communication on the radio, and I have now reread the rules and will be on the correct channel for the next outing . I wondered by not many answered when I did roll call last outing.
  8. it's always going to be something Jim. I've had those years.
  9. I have the same issues with the set of old Digitrol II that I started with. they struggle with 12# balls and last summer I tried a couple 15# balls and they flipped me off and tripped the breaker . does anyone know of any motor upgrades that could be made to a higher speed / high torque motor?
  10. Hope you can get it off. My Boss just tried to give me some crap as I turned in for every Friday off before each of the outings.

  16. I ended up fishing the WMFL with Ryan aboard his boat "Undertow" His Son Ty went with us, first time in a few years for Ty. What started as a very slow day ended very well for us. first rip of the day 300 45# copper went, pulled for about 1 min, then nothing, copper broke about 25 feet into it. was one of my original uncoated copper setups, will be re spooled with Blood Run 60# super. we ended the day 9-11 fished 115 to 145 fow. straight out of holland, south to the sliders. and just keep running a box pattern. 11' white paddle took fish. 350 back on dispy 300 copper went a few times with ss mag u of m frog 250 copper went twice with BLL frozen glow toad. only had room for a 6-7 rod spread. it appeared this weekend that less rods out = More in the box when a it came to big fish one fish was 21 #. had a group of the 14-18# fish and a couple small ones
