  1. The new 55 should have the larger guide s. All mine are under three years old and came with them. Otherwise you could use a dremel tool with the carbide deburr bit to open them up by hand
  2. Great report. Thanks for sharing the pictures

  8. nice work Jimmy - was good talking with you the other night.
  9. I slipped the boat before I started fishing, the last 5 years have been on the trailer. but I would really like to go back to a full time slip just to make night trip after work easy.
  10. Very nice Jason. looked like a great day on the lake.
  11. Nice job Scott and Jason.
  12. the bow was under a few times that night as well.
  13. Fished with Alex last night after work - had lines set by 6:10 out in 150 FOW. NOAA kinda missed it again tonight - was a little rough and the wind was relentless. tried a SW troll - made a turn to switch it up to a NW. Cooper sweater time with a 150 & 250. found that trolling straight back toward the pier head was best for the ride. ended 1-1 a nice small king 2-3 pounds in 125 FOW, 80 Down on a rigger, Silver Streak Spoon - Chrome with Green/Black ladder back - Not sure on the name. Pulled lines as the sunset - made for a long run back in @ 8-10 MPH
  14. I plan to pull lines at dark and make a slow run back in. "test out the new AP" that I tied into the GPS.
  15. thanks Kevin, I'm going to try it Wednesday night out deep
  16. almost that time myself. I still owe you a phone call, I have not been out since sept 7th. keep in touch over the winter.
  17. by the age and size of your boat you more than likely have cable steering. next question do you have power assist? How to answer - does your motor have a power steering pump? if you have both then for your size boat I would look at the Raymarine Sport pack. I paid $1400 + tax here at a local West Marine store. http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=1015382&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&storeId=11151&storeNum=50157&subdeptNum=50193&classNum=50194#.Ujhe5cZJOVE I just installed this unit on my 1987 Fourwinns and it works great. Took about 3 hours to fully install.
  18. Jason - Hold me one seat. I can use it on my old lawn tractor. thanks PM your cell to me
  19. 1st off a big thanks to all of the sponsors this year. Blood Run Tackle:thumb: Big Lake Lures:thumb: Silver Streak:thumb: Big Weenie:thumb: and Fish Hawk. the prizes that they donate to our small league is great. below is the summary. We had a great turn out this year for number of boats. I hope all had a good time and looking forward to next year.
  20. Dave, I have not used them but there is a shop on Chicago Drive in Zeeland near the Burger King that I hear does good work.
  21. Not the best day of fishing for our league. only 4 boats showed. 1 left early due to rough water. the boats that stayed produced only 2 fish for the weight in. A big thanks going out to Fish Hawk for sending Deeper Divers. the boats that made it all receive a pair of divers. I will try and get a summary of results out in the next week for this year.
  22. We are a go. Good luck all and be safe. Channel 71. Role call around 7 am
