Most of our fish came on an 11" white paddle w/ an Oceana fly parked at 80' on a rigger. A magnum Blue Dolphin w/ a glow back took 3 hits at 70' on a rigger.
Fished the same water with my wife friday nite. We did about the same 4-8, 3 nice Coho's and a King. Got sick of the flies and packed it in early. It was nice fishing when they cooperated for a change. Good job
Go deep Gary We've been running out to 250' and working our way back in as the sun goes down. No boat traffic and still getting decent numbers. We're done for the season now. Boats getting lifted out of the water today.
Great job Jeff. Wife and fished the same water Saturday nite. Our fish were hitting the free sliders and not hooking up very well. Ended the nite 2-6, With the wife landing a nice 18# King at dark.
Even though i live here i've never even entertained the thought that people vacation here. But my friends website for his Charter boat has some options that might help you out. Heres the addy. http://www.addictioncharters.com/accommodations Found another possibility. Whitehall and Montague are closer to Michigan adventure and i believe would have more to offer.
That was probably us. I think we did talk for a bit. We came up from Muskegon for 4 days and never got out fishing once. It was the trip from Hell, Got caught in 8-10 foot waves on the way home home and had to spend an extra nite in Pentwater. We're going south this summer.
We were on the same dock with you in Ludington last summer. It was a COLD, Rainy and windy trip. I remember standing on the dock watching the rain on your radar. That is a beautiful boat, You did a fantastic job on it.
