from the looks of the guy in my opioin i would have to say this wasnt his first run in with the law the boat was a beat up tin can more or less he looked like a tweaker missin pert near all his teeth and grease ball hair and clothes but i could be wrong. dont think so though

had to do something other than ice fishing last outing i almost drowned cooking the catch who would of thought the amount of water ice would make lol

hit the pier today to do some open water fishing. lake was flat and wind was hardly anything. started out way slow but ended up picking up around 5ish ended up with 1 coho and 4 white fish. talked to guys coming in and heard and saw steelies and a few browns. saw one idoit come back in tow behind the coast gaurd boat he was saying he found out its illeagal to fish at cook nuc plant. dnr launch is launchable no docks in though but no ice in the river from what i could see from the road and the pier

not as of yesterday morning they weren't heading back down there today to try off the pier for some browns or coho or what ever baits i'll check agian today and when i stop at tackle haven i'll ask if they know when they are gonna get the docks in and post it later tonight after i get home

i vote for st joe but will goto so haven if needed and if even got the boat out then yet

i was thinking the same i just hope he'll make it through the winter because i hate seeing animals goto waste.

well today went down to the hunting property to unlaod a gun safe and this lil guy walk out of the pines lining the driveway and walked right up to me and wanted attention. this was the first time this has ever happened to me and i thought i would just share it.

ok i have searched and searched and googled trying to find a downloadable/printable fishing log template with no luck so far can anyone tell me a place to to find a good clean log book page so i can start keeping better track of all my fishing not just big lake fishing. thanks

it wasnt meant to be mean or cold it was just one day he called me just as i pulled back in the drive from saugatuck that the dirty dog went dead i was just being a smart ass. from what i have learned of terry is his stuff is always in tip top shape and he just had a bad day.

i dont want to bad mouth anyone but i am starting to question mike covey's fishing reports. i know these are from our fellow anglers but yeah............. 5 times in the last week i have tried some of the lakes that gave good reports to get out there and drill a million holes and not mark a single fish on the vexlar. i guess this is just a rant about slow fishing. i just wish some guys could be a little more honest about what they are or are not catching on the lakes right now cause it is enough to piss someone off to drive to the other side of hartford to van aukin lake just to get skunked and after walking off the ice a resident who i know very well and is a old timer flat out says there hasnt been hardly any action to speak of yet this year. so i guess this is just a bitch and a request to all the fellow anglers be honest about what your catching when giving info to a bait/tackle store on what you are catching

tried that tonight vexlar showed alot of fish agian tonight but lockjaw and kids started to get cold so packed up and headed off the the comfert of a warm truck and a restuarnt for dinner

yeah i will be taking 3 kids out tomorrow afternoon for thier very first ice fishing trip ever this ought to be fun lol

hit pine lake this morning and boy do te fish have lockjaw. ended up with 1 spec and 3 blue gill between myself and pulpfishin. found out like what terry is sayin they are right on the bottom. sooner or later they gotta get hungry. but did see one nice pike come out from a group of guys fishin with thier kids. always nice to see a kid get a nice fish. i would say it was about 28 inches or so. happy new year to ya'll i hope its a good one

i do what ever seems like it would piss me off if i was a fish. spoons body baits flies i dont think myself there is no rythme or reason to the baits. except for the fact that they are for one thing and one thing only and that is to catch fishermen. plain and simple

i told one of the girls new boyfriend i do have a cpl and a few handguns to go along with it, so if you all are thinking about any huggin or kissin or anything beyond that just remember this phrase - i aint got no problem goin back to prison - have her back home say around 9ish have fun. and dont grin at all when sayin it cause i didnt and the poor kid wouldnt even try to give her a hug and he is all yes sir no sir.

just wonderin if anyone in the kalamazoo area allegan area wants to head to st joe/ benton harbor to go hook into some of these white fish cause i am game

a u.p. trip with out kids sounds real nice so who else is game to go north for a weekend of fishin?

i am hoping right around christmas. cause there are 3 teenage girls in the house and being laid off for the winter and dealing with them all is driving me nuts COME ON COLD AIR

ok i know this is gonna sound stupid but how and what do you use for fishing for white fish? i have never fished for them and everyone is telling me that they are the cats meow smoked and i wouldnt mind getting some since all the deer have gone and bought shovels and dug fox holes and tunnels and are no where to be found? any suggestions or anyone from the the site fish at these two piers willing to have a rookie tag along?
