  1. I've got 12-31 and 2-4 but never January. I'm game...
  2. 9/10 this morning. Four 16" kings, all natives, and five Lakers @ 4, 9, 10, 12, and 15.76#. We were throwing the boat out of gear to fight those, which stuck to the bottom like glue. Would have loved to keep a few. Jerry Lee mini streak took five, blue rapala two, magnum mongoose stinger, black river rocker, and black prism junior thunderstick a hit each. Spoons were one color cores. Fished 15-20' then tried the beach for browns, ended up with two kings in 4-5'. Kept the last two kings for dinner.
  3. Saturday looks good. At least between the waves laying down and the rain starting. Anyone else thinking about it?

  5. Full, because I'vé always done it. Never had a fuel related issue.
  6. We fished 9-11 ám. By 11 we were plenty cold!
  7. 3/3, 5# steel ön a magnum mongoose stinger slide diver back 50 out 15. 7# steel j-11 black silver rap 35' off a yellow bird. Released a small brown mixed veggie mini streak off rigger. Ãll fish close to pier in 15' őr só. Laps around bubbler while in warmer water nothing going, although tons of marks on bottom. Anyone wanting to jig whities would be a good place to look.
  8. Have big note on the fridge saying "boat not winterized". Thanks for the reports going to try to get back.out still...
  9. Fished Thursday am 10-20' from Holland south. 0/1, broke off a large laker 2' from netting it. Hit a gold red herring bone thin fish.
  10. Slightly better this year. Fewer and smaller steel. Not enough kings either year. Brown fishing best I''ve had both years. Out of the 150 fish over the last two years, over 100 were Brown's.
  11. Two weeks of north and east winds are not typical now. Usually there's 60 degree water 80' deep and a thermocline out from there.
  12. About the same area as the o p.
  13. We were out too, three for six boards being best. Mini streaks and rapalas. Got a Sheep, heavy Brown, throw back king. Lost a small Brown, another dink, and a dark king pushing 20#.
  14. Pier might be good. Jerry Lee Mimi streaks on one color cores and j 11 rapalas 100' off yellowbirds might work. Trolling a bit faster than normal could help.
  15. Before we knew it was you we saw you trolling back into them. My crew said "that doesn't look like much fun". We tried later. It wasn't.
  16. I took a chance when we came back in from out there that we could get on top of them and thus we ran 30 mph. Really smoothed out once we got over 20. I don't think my crew was as amused as i was.
  17. Bouy shows Cold water 65' down; guests want table fare so silver fish.
  18. Who else will be out? Dropping in 70 Looking for matures on the bottom then kings in 100-150 and if that doesn't work pulling the spread up and putting the throttle down to find chrome in 200+... Twilight Zone on 68.
  19. Fished for five hours Saturday with 55 degree water in the channel and 44 degree water 10' down out front. Saw one king caught. Marked next to nothing. They apparently decided not to run that day...
  20. At church. After eight hours over two nights without a hit i do not care to fish again soon.
  21. Salamon yes, steelhead a little early, lakers: I'vé caught one out of hundreds of river fish. Kings should only get better in the next weeks then steel behind them peaking in November.
  22. Got to watch you land that one. And that was the last salmon we saw. Up to ten rods 44 degree water out front and not a hit. Buddy who is better than I never got hit either. The waves were quite amusing when we quit at.7:30. Speed control was approximate at best. Hosted Littleboat from this site. Hope we didn't scare hím too badly.
  23. The closest i ever came to falling out of a boat was on a 36' Tiara. Very little free board on those. My 22' cuddy has so much free board it is a challenge to pee out from, and I'm 6'4". The tiara barely came above my knees. Other than that, sweet boat. That's cool What you're doing for the Kids.
  24. Great port and great report. For being 20 miles away fishing was much better there than Holland this weekend. Pretty sure the top fish in the last cooler shot is a coho.
