You guys have to try using McCoy Mean Green. Its strong and keeps fleas off your line. I ran 25lb test all year long while running paddles and never had a problem putting fishin in the boat. I would go to 15 when running spoons. It isnt very popular on the East coast, but on the west coast it has a lot of followers. The people I have put onto it have all fell in love with it!

I have 6 of these for sale. All were pulled apart last spring and cleaned and lubed. Reels are in good shape with sun fading being the only cosmetic blemish. These are the sealine models and sell for $100 retail. $60/reel shipped.

I would also like to add that the McCoy Mean Green doesnt collect fleas!

I am running 2 differnt lines on my riggers. I have rods set up with 25lb test and ones with 15. I am using McCoy Mean Green on all of those rods. I use the 25lb test for 8-11" paddles. 15lb test on spoons and mini spinnies.

Im gonna have to say it was a week or two after the 4th of july. There was a crazy school of Kings off Oak Orchard. 3 of us on board and we landed 20 kings in just 4 hours. We lost a few too. It was sick! We lost a major that I couldnt turn.

Im new to the business, but beem in the game for 20yrs. I will offer a free trip if my clients dont catch anything. But your right, why would they want to come out again when they didnt catch anything the first time? Clients are just like women.....you got to wine and dine them or they aint coming back! <--Then again what do I know.....Im only 28!

I had the same scam tried on me. I didnt respond back to them becasue I was warned prior to getting the e-mail. I dont take credit cards at this time, but I do have Pay Pal. From some of the people I talk to, especially corporate people looking to take out clients, you need to acept credit cards (especially AMEX).

In the fog picture I spent 2 days in the rain and fog doing circles in Oswego harbor with 50 othe people, but I couldnt see them for the most part.

No, I think its unfair that you only get Salmon late summer to fall. That must suck! Most of the time you cant even reach the dang things they are down so far. Well, maybe this year will be different with the sharks on board.

What boat you bringing down? I think you should drive the new boat to Wilson for the first two weekends from the Oak. The next weekend plan on bringing it back to UnFairHaven.

Never made the trip. Wasnt about to deal with the rain. I guess i got a little lazy this weekend.

I have to work wed-fri and I burned my vacation this summer, so i will have to pass on the OH trip. However, if you want to chase the steel on Tuesday give me a hollar.

Hey guys, whats up? My name Is Rick Hajecki and run Charters on Lake Ontario for Salmon and Trout. I also provide guided bass trips on the Finger Lakes, the Ports of Lake Ontario, and Lake Erie. I am addicted to these sites and I look forward to sharing info as well as learning it from all of you. I mainly fish from Wilson harbor in the spring and move back to Rochester for the summer bite. I dont think its all that bad reelin in 10 colors. I mean COME ON theres a fish on the other end! I love watching that rod ping off the big boards from a king.

Set up in the River around 6am and did the combat thing for like 3 hours. Only managed 1 rip on a white/dew spinny with a TG fly, out on the wire 40' back. Pulled the lines and headed out to the deep stuff. Stopped around 250-300ish and set up figuring we would work our way out to that 400-450' range. Didnt get my 5th rod in the water and FISH ON! For the next few hours we just smacked the 2yr old salmon and chrome. Biggest steelie was only 8-9lbs and the biggest king was 10-12 lbs. Not very big fish, but I had a guy from work on board and he thought the non stop action was unreal. He ended up letting me reel in the 10 color after he battled a fish on it once. We had somewhere near 15 bites and most of them came in the last few hours we fished the deep stuff. Fish were taking hammer time, white/dew spinny with a TG fly, dew spinny with a lemon/lime fly, and a few even took spoons.

I also run one on my boat. I think it is a great unit, and the split screen tranducer is a great option to have. I dont run it in fish ID mode. I havent read through the post here so Im not sure if all your questions were answered. I will try to check back and see if you have any questions for me.

I put the middle rigger down while my bro works on the Starboard corner. When Im done I go to the port corner rigger. By this time my bro is pumping out his wire dipsey and when im done with the third rigger I start my wire. If the day is nice and the fiah are high out go the boards with a 2 color at the board and a 10 color inside of it.
