  1. According to our local news, the state of MI is going to sue to close the shipping canal. Looking at suing both the Illinois and Federal Govt.
  2. It wouldn't be a walleye outing. Mainly perch, gills and pike. Really tough to get walleye out of Muskegon Lake once she freezes.
  3. I wipe mine down with a damp washcloth.
  4. I brought some on our Canada deer hunt. It didn't last long.
  5. 33 1/4" long 21" girth....
  6. Huron : Linwood and Saginaw River. Detroit River Michigan : Muskegon and Ludington.
  7. I believe the purple ones I use are Little Atom's.
  8. Purple teardrops and mousies.
  9. Cedar Springs, MI. Within an hour from some of the best freshwater fishing in the world !
  10. Here is a 13 lber a customer caught last year...
  11. Looks familiar. My biggest was not weighed. But it measured 33 1/4 long x 21" girth. She is on my wall.
  12. Sounds good to me.
  13. That 5th spoon from the left looks like an old Billie Bait. We used to have a fair amount of success on those at Grand Haven. Couldn't seem to get them to work to good anywhere else tho. I have several of the other spoons that are shown.
  14. Welcome to the crazyness....
  15. Amen !
  16. It is people like that, that really mess this world up ! No common sense....
  17. 20 years ago I used them all of the time on Lake Erie, fishing around Brest Bay in water shallower than 20 foot. They are another great tool to help you catch fish.
  18. It is hard to beat Canada deer hunting. The 11 point I shot this year dressed out at 210 lbs. I got just about 70 lbs of boned meat. There are more wolves in Canada than Michigan, but the deer are bigger and for the most part can fend them off. Plus you can shoot wolves in that part of Canada.
  19. This should have been done several years ago.
  20. I learned the rod down technique while river fishing for iron noggins and bass fishing tournaments. Keeping the rod down adds up to more fish in the net. Sometimes on the boat salmon or walleye fishing it just is not possible, depending on rod holder or rigger placement on the boat and what rod happens to have the fish on it.
  21. I use a Vex....once you start you will never go back.
  22. Buy the H2o for 120 and send me the other hundred so I can get one.
  23. I agree whole heartedly.
  24. Nice fish Dan....gotta love this time of year.
