  12. I have the same model, 1990. First season for me on this boat and I have been trolling for 32 years on all sorts of boats. This is a GREAT fishing boat. Radar and autopilot very nice feature too. What autopilot are you using? WASABI, Grand Haven
  13. Sorry for late post, been workin for the man too much. Finished 4-7. Set lines at 5:30 in 90 fow off rosy mound. Action kicked in steady at 7:30 at 110 fow with a 10# king on a UV spinny meat rig on wire diver 120 back- many Thanks to Guys at Fish On tackle on m104. Worked 130-110 till dusk, then worked east for the sunset. Same Meat rig and setting went again, but came unbuttoned after a decent fight. Next was a pretty 9# metalhead on a 250 copper with a blue flounder. Then the other spinnie meat rig went, 120 wire dipsy with a good eater metalhead. Getting dark and then 250 copper went again but came unbuttoned at around 90 fow. Started pullin lines in the dark at 80 fow and then a 14# king hit the 150 copper on old reliable mountain dew spinnie and pickled sunshine fly. Gonna try thursday night too. Wasabi

  17. 3rd trip out on new boat, 27 amberjack and is working out well. Name change to WASABI. Introduced some pennsylvania buddies to salmon fishing last night. Fogbank at the pierhead, Flat dead calm water and flies to start, but the fog cleared out when we set down in 100 FOW. 2.5 mph at ball worked best. Worked out to 160 and made turn back. 150 copper took a rip at 135, nobody home. Then full core went with a cookie cutter king at 125fow. Turned north and picked up a beautiful 13# metalhead on a bloodynose 3 color core. Wrapped up the night at dusk with a 15# king on the 150 copper in 75 fow with a mongolian beef.
  18. Anybody know if the state dnr ramps arr in water, if the ice is gone btwn ramp and pier heads? Ice Looks pretty clear out:confused: on spyglass webcam.
  19. Well, managed to pick up another 9 today with a semi-rookie first mate today. Windy n wavy, then foggy. Had fun regardless. Thin fins most productive again today in red and also green firetiger on boards, 2 color and old reliable orange split j11 on rigger 12' down. Bounced between 30 fow and 15 fow, 17 fow best. Small straight black rapala caught 3 on a 3 color too.
