  12. i have one in the shark size, ran it on 10 colors pulled like 300 ft of 45# copper on a board.have not caught anything useing it but it has not had much water time as most of our fish have been up highwill play with it a little more when the fish go down deep in a few weeks.i will let you know what i think after a little more testing
  13. we had a lot of fish hooked up but we worked hard for them,we fished from 5:00 am to 5:30 pm to do it.adam worked his $@% off on the back of the boat,he's the man.the best part was we had that 1/2 mile stretch all to our selves not another boat in site:grin:frank i would have to put manistee down as my favorite port, even though we are a lot closser to the bay.i just love those silver fish
  14. the only place we found fish was 14.5 to 15.0 80 to 100 fow almost straite out,a little south.good luck let me know if you recieve this not sure if i am doing this right

  15. headed over to manistee yesterday morning with adam bomb and it was a blast:grin:.things started of slow we fished on the bank till the sun came up with little to show for it.the east wind did not help things.we pulled lined and ran out 15 miles looking for the breaks with no luck.fished out there for a few with out a hit.ran back in and found some fish on the graph and got set up for thr third time, took a hit right away and lost it,story of the day.then we got the break i was hoping, for the wind switched to the south and died right off.now it was on ,we had 2 triples and 4 or 5 doubles.by the end of the day we ground out our limit, but we had to work hard for it.we had over 40 fish on and got 23 to the boat.they just would not stay hooked, and yes we were using sharp hooks(gamagatsu mostly):grin:lead was the ticket today 2,3,5, and 7 colors riggers at 25,45,65 took a few.mixed veggies was the hot pattern for sure, steelie stomper, blue coyote, fire ball andnuked veggies took fish too.allmost all of our action was in a half mile stretch along the bank in 80 to 100 fow.we ended up catching 12 lakers,9 kings and 2 coho.adam your welcome aboard anytime:grin:
  16. nothing better than water as far as you can see and no boats in site, hope that what we have tommarow.headed back out in the morning with adam bomb and his dad, first time fishing with them.should be a blast, will post when we return
  17. i think we put 42 miles on mon.
  18. where are you fishing?the offshore program has been the ticket in ludington and manistee.go deep and fish fast after the sun is up is the rule for july on my boat.
  19. have to give adam bomb some of the credit,he passed on some info from a friend.it helps to have friends in high places:grin:it sure is frank,a little better since some of the nets are gone this year.allthough we have not fished to the south much at all this year.
  20. they have been smakin them out deep in manistee for the last couple weeks, when you can get out there.we were 13 to 15 miles out yesterday.the cats out of the bag now:eek:
  21. we fished in the morning on sun, starting out on the bank in 100 to 130 fow.we took a few fish and started to work our way out.picked away at them till noon and pulled lines.we made it out to 350 fow but it was to rough to make it out where i wanted.we ended up with 11 keepers and 1 throw back.8 kings,3 lakers and a coho.riggers 18,45,69 and 97 dwn.2,3 and 5 colors.agent orange, ultra glow nbk, nuked veggies, mixed veggies, steelie stomper, fire ball and a bumble bee did the damage.120 fow was the best. on mon we broke the piers at 12:15 pm,droped the throttle and did not pull it back till we saw fish tailing on the 34 line,700 plus fow.fish were on fire had 3 fish on and 2 in the boat in the first 10 min.we ended up boating 24 fish out deep.we kept 14,9 steelies,3 lakers and 2 coho.went into the bank to look for a kicker king.we set up in 175 fow and boated 2 16 inchers and a smaller one.then a rigger at 100 dwn went off, after a 15 min battle and clearing all the lines the wife had a 20#er in the boat, great way to finish our limit.riggers 20,31 and 100 dwn.1,2,3,5 colors and a flat line with a 1 1/2 oz clip wt.steelie stomper, mixed veggies, ultra glow nbk, bumble bee and a fire ball did the damage we ended the day 28 for 36,only 4 were small throwbacks
