  1. i have not hit the water in allmost 3 weeks:mad:i am not very happy with mother nature at this min.
  2. nice tell mom and pop congrats on some fine birds
  3. i would go with bags,they look like a pain:mad:but they are realy easy to use.they not only slow down ,they stabalize the boat and cut out a lot of the rockin and rollin:thumb:
  4. should have had a lot more for the time we spent on the water with fish under us:confused: only saw 1 other boat net a fish in 8 hrs. of fishing
  5. hit st joe yesterday ended up 7 for 9 5 ho's a king and a laker.orange,firetiger and pearch thinfins,#9 orange/gold jointed rapala and a 00 orange dodger with a fighting irish coho fly we fished 15 to 50 fow.had a lot of fish under us in 35 to 45 fow down by cook,they just would not bite.
  6. hit the bay yesterday for a little walleye action,ended up 5 for 6 in 10 to 14 fow.hjs in #12 and #14 fire tiger,clown,glass clown and a custom color from franks g.o.d. gold/red 70 ft bk.not a lot of action we fised hard to get the first 2 and hit a tripple and pulled lines and headed in.
  7. its not mine but a buddy just droped of his new to him 1860 lowe roughneck with a 50 horse yammy to reside in my garage next to the fishmaster.this makes me very happy because i have permission to float it whenever i want:thumb:now even the rivers are not safe for the fish.i think i have a new best friend now:grin:
  8. no he was home:lol:just one of those days,wish we would have had time to fish north of the piers but mother nature said no way:eek:
  9. thats our worst trip over there in over 2 years,at least it was not a skunk:thumb:and was a lot more fun than spring clean up around the house:D

  11. things were a little slow today.we ended up 2 for 3 1 brown and a steelie.clown and tennesee shad#10 husky jerks 100 ft bk.we ended up getting blown off the lake.the 4 and 5 footers on the way in made for a long ride in

  13. anywhere from $350 on up with gps,we are getting the acr aqualink view.the best price that i have found it is $439.
  14. the new handheld units you only have to change the batterys every 5 years.
  15. we are adding a epirb to our list of safty gear this year,anybody else have one on board?
  16. i start out weaving in and out from 6 fow out to 20 fow untill we figure out where they are.another guy that fishes with me was out there sun too and ended up 4 for 7 all browns.hope they are still around this weekend:D

  18. hit manistee today ended up 18 for 23 15 browns,1 steelhead,1 laker and a 14" king.HJ#10's in clown,purple sunfire,fire tiger,blue/silver orange belly and a custom red and gold,all 100 ft bk.10 to 20 fow.biggest fish was about 12#s 2.5 to 2.8 s.o.g. its turning out to be one hell of a spring:grin:

  23. man its been a strange spring so far.you guys down south are still dealing with ice and manistee/frankfort the ice is long gone.we had 43 deg. water tue in manistee
