    I switched to LED's about three seasons ago and wondered why I didn't do it sooner. I did it for the same reasons you want to. Easier to see in the daylight and lights last longer for sure. I had to replace incadescent bulbs about twice a year. You will not be disappointed.

    Good Job Jared. Gear can always be replaced. I flew over South Haven this morning. The mud plumb from the river wasn't as far out as I thought it would be. The dirt line from Holland, however, went out for at least a mile.

    I upgraded to a Humminbird 788DIHD. Compared to what I had before, it is really awesome and I am very happy with it. I have found that the Down Imaging hasn't been helpful for Great Lakes fishing, but is a neat feature for inland lakes.

    I've been building my own rod trees out of scrap pipe from the shop. Heavier than a dead horse, but also heavy duty.

    My dad finally retired earlier this year so he had more time for hunting. For the first time, he bought a buck tag and it paid off for him. He shot this nice eight point on the morning of November 30th in Kalamazoo county. He had a good year, shot a doe opening morning and a buck on the last day of the season.
