  3. Nice fish! Way to keep that skunk out of the box!
  4. another vote for the Fish Hawk...plus EXCELLENT customer service. I broke a bracket for the transducer, e-mailed them on July 4th holiday (Mon), got a response that day and mailed me the part no charge. Had it Thursday of the same week!
  5. nice job~it's not always that easy though:grin:
  6. nice job guys! I stalked the charter boats Sat in Grand Haven to see what they brought in. One had 6, but most were under 5 lbs Another had 4 decent fish. Very few were out, so kinda tells me fishing is tough when the guys who are out there almost every day struggled....
  7. Nice job, thanks for the report...looks like he flasher/fly combo was the ticket! I haven't been able to get my dipsey's ff combo going yet...hopefully getting out this week, keep the fish in close!
  8. W-T-G guys! Appreciate the post showning the lures/depths etc...
  9. Thanks for the report! Sounds like PS has been the hot spot. I've thought about fishing solo when the fish are in close, never done it though!
  10. Way to go find 'em! Nice fish too! What was the water temp like?

  14. Well done!! Nice fish!!!!
  15. Thanks for the report..sounds similar to what I've been doing out of GH in the evening...catching them before 8:30 or so, nothing during the "prime time"
  16. 8 fish is ALWAYS a great trip! Way to go on the boat record too!
  17. hard to believe the last few hours were better than the first two! I've had the same thing on the night bite...catching the fish before 9:00, nada after that---used to be prime time the last 30 min before and after sunset. It's not how well you start, but how you finish:grin: Well done!
  18. Sounds like a fun time! I stayed inside of 70' all night, hard to leave with the amount of fish we were marking in close. I heard your water was producing some nice numbers! Scott
  19. Didn't drop lines until 7:00..started in 50 fow with real cold water..within 10 min caught a 10# king on the rigger 31 down blue dolphin..marked a lot of fish up high, last one came on NBK spoon 60 fow 15' down! Ended up 4/4 with one being a shaker that was passed the point of release..coughed up 2 minnows when we took the mag carmel dolphin out of it's gills. Caught 12# king on same blue dolphin 25 down same water. had a buddy out in 120 fow went 4/6, and another that was way out in 225 fow landed 7 steelhead, but had many more on..with marina gas at $4.47, glad I could basically drop lines outside the pier head!
  20. Thanks for the report...heading out to GH tonight for a few hours of fishing...glad I don't have to run out to 250' again!
  21. Nice fish:thumb: Now the rookie is "spoiled"!
  22. Nice job! I saw the water temp dropped quite a bit...heading out to GH tonight. It will be nice not having to run out to 200+'!
