the X4 is great would never fish with out it. the head unit is bright and you can see it from one end of the boat to another at 4am. I get speed and temp down to 150ft. no coated cable to deal with.

Manistee did ok yesterday. Two boats had 4 and another had 7 with a 10 pounder. This was from the dnr guy that texted me as they came in

Yea there new for this year. There the regular big jons but they spin 360 with two set screws to keep them in place. Simple yet effective.

what kind of line are you running on your divers. I can see any small thing on my wires and braided

it works fine. Iv done it before. I was fishing a pound ball on a full core to get down 120. Let it out SLOWLY put the bird on walk it strait back whens its 70+ft back put engage the reel and it should be fine.

I think there darn good boats. I mean look at the starcraft islander. Its the face of great lakes fishing. I think you see more islander than any other boat brand out there. They dont cut threw waves they go over them. yea your not going to be able to run 25mph in 3fts. I have fished on alot of islanders for salmon which is alot like the sylvan and no complaisant. With gas as it its and when your running a 4banger in a 22ft boat its great on the pocket book rather that a 305 for a glass boat. Just dont be afraid due to is a "tin can"

yes you want the longest one you can find. We went with the sailboat motor and would never go with anything else.

Our low divers are 8'6 and our highs are 10s. The reason for 10s are we have longer than usual arms on our riggers and if we went to a 7fter it out be hitting the rigger cable.

We running daiwa on all 8 of our diver rods. There 47s with power handles.

The new TX-44 are selling very well. I sold half a dozen at the fish on booth today. People were very interested in them.

I did hear that from more than one person. Iv heard it has a lot of sponsers on the dvd and a little fishing.
