  1. We have had it at Tom's a few times so you may have seen it there.

  4. Not a bad way to spend a day out of the office! Nice work Jason!
  5. Slammin Salmon
  6. Great story Ed, nice work!
  7. Does the tag end stay pretty tight with the twist? Just curious if it ever catches going through the eyes.
  8. Welcome to GLF Plugs! Is there any way to pull the old holders out and turn them? If not You could always have someone fabricate something for you.
  9. Yea I can believe it... I started a facebook page for our boat.
  10. I like the idea Ryan, here are a few fly colors I would like to see in a combo pack. 1. aqua 2. green crinkle 3. double glow 4. glow over agua 5. LBB 6. glow over green crinkle 7. mirage 8. yellow over green 9. yellow over blue 10. glow over LBB Not quite 12 but it's a start.
  11. I think I am with Adam on this one. Also another area that could potentially fail.
  12. The flies look great Phil, you will enjoy catching fish on them!
  13. WOW! Nice work Ken, those are some hogs!
  14. I usually just stick with the three colors you listed with the addition of glow. I had a lot of success with my glow flies last year, even during the day. I will experiment with speed and troll direction before I start switching out my stock colors. That goes for my flashers as well. This is also something that will change from port to port and talking to people who fish the same area will be able to provide you with the best information.
  15. Nice work on a cold day Mark!
  16. Check out this book, very informative and helpful. You can find this book and a few more on this site.
  17. Welcome to GLF Richard! There are lots of people on this site that are willing to help. Good luck next season!
  18. 350' of 45# copper should get you down into the 90's depending on what speed you are going. Here is a link to a depth chart to look at. Good luck with the recovery!
  19. I have not ran any of the torpedo's but I think most guys are attaching them in the start of the backing. The releases are Offshore OR 16's, the ones with the pin in the pinch pad. I use them on my boards as well and have never had one fail.
  20. Keep sending the questions Phil, we welcome them!
  21. Great news Matt, way to go!
  22. What size torpedo's were you using? I have been trying to decide if I want to run torpedo's or dive bombs with my copper and core setups next year. I like the price of the dive bombs much better though.
  23. I have only ran thumper rods on our boat a couple times but it seemed like I was putting a little to much in one area for a boat with a 8.5 beam and four riggers. Next year I would like to give the directional torpedo's a try for when the dipsies go dead.
