  1. I doubt a blood knot will work with copper. If you could get the copper to tighten up enough for the knot you would still be left with a very large knot, due to the size of the copper, that is going to get hung up going through the guides and levelwind. I use an albright with a haywire twist on mine.
  2. They can go out in any order but starting with your outside board first would be the easiest. You should also have your shallower setups outside of you deeper setups. After a few trips you will have it dialed in.
  3. What kind of reel are you using to put 1000' of copper on?
  4. If these are the ones your talking about I think they should work just fine. (No. 1039 Soft Stop Bumper)
  5. I use 20' fluorocarbon leaders on my copper setups. There are lots of different opinions on what length and type of line is best, you just have to find out what works best for you.
  6. I think these are the links your looking for. http://nas.er.usgs.gov/queries/factsheet.aspx?SpeciesID=551 http://nas.er.usgs.gov/queries/FactSheet.aspx?speciesID=549
  7. That's kind of how today went for me, only I didn't get to go fishing. Way to hang in there and get out on the water.
