  1. Nice job Brian. Its always nice when you can get all your presentations working for you.
  2. Welcome to GLF Allen.
  3. Welcome to GLF Nick. Lots of good info so far so I guess I will just say to try and find what works for you on your boat, every boat and setup trolls differently.
  4. Welcome to GLF Brian. We had our boat in Kewaunee as well this year, maybe I will see you around.
  5. The forecasts don't always get it right, sometimes you just have to use your best judgement. Here are a couple sites I use for wave reports. http://www.crh.noaa.gov/greatlakes/?c=map&l=lm&p=a http://www.glerl.noaa.gov/res/glcfs/
  6. I think the Blog will be a great addition Dave. Are you planning to continue doing seminars in the future?
  7. It's good to have ya out of lurker status Ryan! I am looking forward to your input.
  8. Thanks for the video John, that sure looks like fun!
  9. Wow, good to hear that the old guy made it back to port. Nice fish guys.
  10. Welcome Dave, good to have ya.
  11. If your time on the water is limited a probe is going to be one of the most important pieces of equipment on your boat. It will help you dial in your spread much faster and put more fish in the box.
  12. Great fish, I hope that guy finds a good home on someone wall!
  13. Those are some great looking kings Todd, thanks for the report.
  14. Nice job Captain Richard. When you say you had a spoon mupped, does that mean it was on a fixed slider or something different? I am unfamiliar with that term.
  15. Nice job with all the warm water out there Jim.
  16. Welcome to GLF Kelly. My guess is the hooks may be getting pulled out on during runs. Since your running stiffer rods I would say leave the drag light and just spend a bit more time fighting the fish.
  17. Sad indeed, be safe guys.
  18. Nice video Kyle, and good job on the lake!
  19. I have a Humminbird on our boat so I am going to be a bit partial for them, but we have been very happy with ours. Since Humminbird came out with Radar both units are pretty comparable features, but for me if I had to choose between a 8" and a 10" screen I would go with the 10 every time. The down imaging may also be helpful while perch or walleye fishing. We have not had a problem viewing ours on bright days and I doubt that would be an issue with either model.
  20. Nice job Ed.
