  1. Nice Pics Tom. That first one is looking a little dark!
  2. Tyler Thank you for encouraging this to be taken care of privately.
  3. Glad to have a fellow dragon slayer aboard Josh!
  4. Welcome Kyle....glad to have ya!
  5. That type of bashing isn't tolerated here and is what differentiates glf from other fishing sites. Thanks for coming to glf Matt!
  6. Scott Welcome to GLF. In the area of superior we are in, the smaller class kings have showed up again as well as the coho. Right now the target is coho and they love the flasher fly combo this time of year. We will run 2 riggers with FF combos normally not deeper than 15 feet and 2 dipsys 40-50' back on a #2 setting. The other thing we run is 1-3 color cores with small jointed smelt raps. If you are after lake trout right now they have started their inshore run for the year and for us it is usually more of a gold and orange spoon bite behing dipsys and downriggers and they are all over the water column. Best of luck!
  7. I had to add to the poll because i kinda fall dead center on the northern most part of the lake. Mainly fish good old Fairport Michigan.
  8. I am sure he is HOOKED now:thumb: Nice job Terry!
  9. It's that time of year again:confused:
  10. Nice fatty in the middle:thumb:
  11. Welcome to GLF Jake. Enjoy:thumb:
  12. It really depends on the rating of your riggers. It is always nice to run a 12-15lb ball if possible to reduce blow back and keep your rigger line on your sonar screen to see exactly where you are running it.
  13. Agreed...this is how mine is set up also. Welcome to GLF Ed. Glad to have you:thumb:
  14. Great Pics JB:thumb:
  15. Thru-hull transducer for bait ball searching and the link above to keep an eye on surface temp changes:thumb:
  16. I used to look forward to those games as well....when we used to win! This year will be my 15th consecutive Lion/Packer game i have been to at Lambeau field and have not seen them win yet. We sure do have a good time though
  17. Another solid catch Bill. Nice Job:thumb:
  18. Here is a little something for all you Detroit Lion fans! I know he must seem a little crazy to some of you, but my neighbor Joe Paquette just retired and wanted his team that he has supported through MANY years of tough times to recognize that he still holds on to that "true faith" that all of us Detroit Lion fans must have to never have "swam the river" to a winning team. If any of you happen to see him stop and say hello. He really is a great guy and I am sure he would really appreciate it.
  19. Great Pics Kyle! I would love to be heading to the TT there this weekend.....life goes on though:mad:
  20. Todd this guy may have a valid point on separating cores and copper, but NEVER equal lengths on the same side next to each other. That sounds like it would have a solid chance of really spiking your blood pressure. I split my coppers and cores up just like your program:thumb:
  21. Love the pics of the fattys from lake "O"....nice catch & keep em coming:thumb:
  22. Great catch. Water temps seem to be much less of a factor the last couple of years. I think with the thinning alewife population they just seem to be going where the food is and if it happens to be in warm water it doesn't change the fact that they are HUNGRY!
  23. Welcome Ed. Looking forward to more Lake "O" reports from your end.
